Keanu Reeves And Girlfriend Alexandra Grant Enjoy Dinner With His 'Matrix 4' Cast Members

Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, artist and philanthropist Alexandra Grant, were spotted in Berlin, Germany, where the actor is currently filming The Matrix 4. Over the Fourth of July weekend, they were seen going to dinner with fellow cast members including Carrie-Anne Moss, in Berlin's trendy Kreuzberg neighborhood.

The production of the film recently resumed filming and is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Earlier this year production took place in San Francisco, however, it had completed shooting before having a hiatus from March until recently.

On Saturday, over the Fourth of July weekend, Reeves, 55, was photographed in Berlin's trendy Kreuzberg neighborhood alongside Grant, 47. The happy couple looked dapper and matching, with Reeves in a black suit and button-up shirt, while Grant donned a sheer black polka-dot blouse and black pants. 

They appeared to be on their way to dinner at a private residence and were joined by Reeves' Matrix 4 co-stars, including Carrie-Anne Moss. Also starring in the upcoming movie are Neil Patrick Harris and Jonathon Groff.

Reeves and Grant's relationship first became public in November 2019, when they were photographed holding hands at a Los Angeles event, as reported by People. The couple had already been together for a few years but hadn't gone public until then. 

Interest in Grant, who is an artist and philanthropist, grew quickly, and in March she gave an interview with Vogue magazine. In it, she explained that many friends and acquaintances contacted her with questions about her relationship, explaining:

"I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that's fascinating. But the question I've been asking in all of this is: 'What is the opportunity for good?'"

She was further asked about the possibility of marriage and gave a clever answer that avoided the question:

"Over a glass of wine...I would love to tell you. Love at every level is deeply important to my identity. How's that for dodging the question? I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships."

The Matrix 4 has brought about a lot of excitement ever since it was announced. Reeves explained to Empire magazine why he was eager to reprise his iconic role as Neo, stating: 

"Lana Wachowski wrote a beautiful script and a wonderful story that resonated with me. That's the only reason to do it. To work with her again is just amazing. It's been really special, and the story has, I think, some meaningful things to say, and that we can take some nourishment from."

The Matrix 4 is expected to be released on April 1, 2022.
