Katie Price Changes Look As She Works To Get Her Life Back On Track
Jan 05, 2022
Katie Price is an English model and media personality that used to go by the pseudonym Jordan. Price has appeared in several magazines but rose to fame in 2004 when she appeared on the reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!" She has been a part of many other reality shows that centered around her life and relationships. In 2015, Price also won the competition series "Celebrity Big Brother."
The star is also an author and has written six autobiographical books as well as novels, a fashion book and two series of children's books. Price's novel series "Angel" topped the Sunday Times Bestseller list.
Price is also known for her looks, specifically the plastic surgeries and cosmetic procedures she has undergone. Price has had so much work done on her face and body that her family has begged her to stop, and some plastic surgeons have commented that she is endangering her life by going under for so many facelifts and augmentations.
In 2021, Price fell under scrutiny when she totaled her car while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Since the incident, she has maintained that she is seeking help for her mental well-being and is focused on staying sober. The model made a statement on social media where she acknowledged that she is lucky to be alive and no one was injured or killed.
Read on to learn more about Price and to see the new look she unveiled on Instagram as she enters 2022, focusing on her health and wellness.
For many, skillfully done, plastic surgery can enhance their appearance and provide valuable motivation for making healthy lifestyle choices. But for some people, however, there is proof that too much of a good thing can be disastrous.
Although she's only 43 years old, Katie Price has already gone bankrupt from multiple plastic surgeries. Even her terminally ill mother begged Price to consider her five children and rethink her choices. This woman shows no sign of canceling upcoming procedures.
Her seemingly endless amount of plastic surgeries began, with complications, in July 2017. A February 2018 procedure to repair the damage led to additional problems as a stray thread pulled on her face, causing damage. After her third procedure, her boyfriend needed to clean a pus-filled wound she had developed.
Plastic surgeon Mark Ho Asjoe told Closer that Katie really does risk death if she keeps having plastic surgeries, he continued saying:
"Because of scar tissue from previous procedures, Katie runs the risk of her scars not healing or skin dying. Katie is taking unnecessary risks – every time you have surgery, you're taking a risk. If I were Katie's surgeon, I would say no to any further work – she's gone too far now. You can only stretch the skin so much, plus it'll take longer to heal."
The real question Price needs to be asking is, "Am I willing to give up my life for one more plastic surgery?" Although it doesn't directly impact her appearance, each procedure exposes her to toxins found in anesthesia. Repeated facelifts can lead to brain damage or death.

On her Instagram, Price posted a photo of herself in late December 2022 that showed off her new short hairstyle, stating that she got her extensions removed. She wrote in the caption: "Hair out feeling fresh."
The new look has gained a lot of attention from fans. One person commented, "Looking beautiful & happy."
The photo also showed Price's eyebrows looking fuller and darker than usual. Fans were split on whether they liked the change in her appearance. One commenter asked, "Is she getting her brows done?" Another person said, "Beautiful sweetheart as you are a natural beauty but your eyebrows."
The style change comes after Price had to appear in court for driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Following this, Price posted on her Instagram stories, "I would like to thank my family - my children, my mum, dad, sister, brother, my partner Carl, Leigh, and my friends who have supported me throughout these past few months. It's been a really difficult time and I'm incredibly sorry for my actions - I'm sincerely grateful nobody was hurt."
Price added: "I realize the damage my actions could have caused not only to another family but to my own as well. I'm now spending time getting better - mental health is a hidden illness and can strike at any time. The triggers that cause my anxiety and behavior are something I'm trying to understand, come to terms with, and learn to control moving forward. This will be a long process for myself and something I'll continue to work on for the rest of my life. It's also something I can work on with my family so we can progress on a new chapter."
