Kane Brown's "Good As You" Single Uses His Wedding Video As A Backdrop For The Music Video And It Fits Perfectly
Oct 25, 2018
On October 12 (three days after winning three American Music Awards) country singer Kane Brown married his fiancee Katelyn Jae in a romantic ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee. He then decided to share the wedding footage in a very unique and sweet way.
The Georgia native decided to take to Twitter and announce that he was going to use the footage of his wedding for a music video to his latest song, "Good As You."

The song, which was written by Kane, Taylor Phillips, Shy Carter, Will Weatherly, and Brock Berryhilll, is a mid-tempo diddy wherein Kane sings about his ideal woman with whom he'd like to spend the rest of his life.
Judging by the use of his wedding footage in the video, it's safe to say that Kane's perfect woman is Katelyn.
In the song's chorus, Kane sings about how he wants to wake up every day in his bed, and never having to leave, "'I love you' left unsaid.'" Towards the chorus' end, he says that even though it may take a hundred lifetimes, "I just wanna be good as you."
Kane's move to use his wedding footage for a music video is similar to what fellow country singer Scotty McCreery did with his song "This Is It," wherein he used footage from his wedding with high school sweetheart Gabi Dugal to help create the music video.
"Good As You" was released on October 18, and the music video dropped the day after.
