Jennifer Lopez Steps Out With Hunky New Man Leaving Fans' Opinions Divided

Jennifer Lopez has been making changes in her personal life since her split from Ben Affleck. One of those changes has been a recent addition to her security team in the form of a young and attractive bodyguard. Tall, blond, and handsome, the bodyguard attracted plenty of his own attention, given the fact that he was with one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. 

The actress, 55, recently stepped out with her bodyguard during her visit to London. She held onto his hand as she exited a black SUV, clad in a black and white outfit that featured a black turtleneck, a white coat with black buttons, black kitten heels, and accessorized with a black hat and black Dior bag. Although he stole attention because of his looks and the possibility that the “Jenny From The Block” singer may have her romantic sights set on him, a source disclosed to the Daily Mail:

“He is a new addition to her security team, but he is not the only one. She has several security guards around her whenever she goes out, they are just hard to see.”

It’s been three months since Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck after being married for two years. Since then, the actress has made several changes to reinvent her look, including Lasik surgery, as she is “determined to look better than ever.” Alongside those changes is her new bodyguard, who was not part of her team while she was still married to Affleck. He has reportedly been working for her for only a year but has ignited a lot of conversation in that time.

Lopez’s love life has long been an object of public fascination and criticism. While she has been married four times, her most recent spouses are the most well-known: singer Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two children, and Ben Affleck. She was also previously engaged to former baseball player Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, but the two never made it to the altar. Given all this, the public seems to have a keen interest in Lopez’s dating life, which is not always positive, judging by the reactions to her new bodyguard and the debate about whether they appear to be romantically linked. 

“She is, or will be, involved in another relationship soon because she cannot stand to be alone,” one person commented.

Many others had scathing things to say about the actress, painting boldly the double standard, with one writing:

“She can’t live without a man. She needs to focus on her kids. Children always come first, not the other way around.” 

One netizen took aim at her holding his hand in a manner they considered unprofessional, also alleging that he is married, writing:

“There are pictures of them where she is holding the inside of his elbow while walking next to him. The way she used to walk with Ben. The bodyguard is married but we all know a marriage wouldn’t stop JLo.”

This remark was in response to one user’s clarification that they weren’t holding hands, but he was merely helping her out of the car.

However, another person thought the bodyguard’s age was telling of the professional nature of their relationship, saying that he was obviously too young to be romantically involved with the star.

“No meanness but he looks like he could be her child. I don't think he's anything more than a hired bodyguard,” they wrote.
