The term is one of the first instances of a couple’s names being used this way. Both artists are known for their illustrious careers. Affleck is an actor and filmmaker, while Lopez is a singer and actress.  

The couple has a colorful dating history. The two actors met in 2001 on the set of the film “Gigli.” They first began dating in 2002 and were engaged to be married in 2003. Sadly, their wedding was postponed, and then the pair decided to split up in 2004. 

Before dating Affleck for the first time, Lopez had been married twice before. She later married Marc Anthony the same year she and Affleck decided to call it quits, and they were married until 2014. As for Affleck, he married Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they were together until 2018. They share three children together. 

In 2021, after they both were finally single again, Affleck and Lopez decided to get back together. In July of that year, Lopez confirmed they were dating in a social media post. And just one year later, in July 2022, Bennifer finally tied the knot and officially became husband and wife.

A year after their first wedding, the couple are reportedly renewing their vows again in their newly-purchased $60 million mansion in Los Angeles, California. According to a Daily Mail source close to the couple, Lopez and Affleck are reportedly set to renew their vows in the summer of 2023. Apparently, the upcoming ceremony will be held to commemorate the couple who are “in such a great place romantically and emotionally.” They are also pushing for this grandiose ceremony to show that “'they are not taking this second chance for granted.”

Notably, the celebrity couple eloped in Las Vegas on July 2022 and eventually held an intimate wedding ceremony on August 2022 at Affleck’s home in Georgia. The source revealed to the outlet that they want to celebrate their renewal of vows ceremony in their $60 million Los Angeles mansion. 

The vast estate sits on an estimated 5-acre gated community in Wallingford Estates, in Beverly Hills. The mansion is equally vast, with an estimated 38,000 square feet of air-conditioned living space, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. The palatial property is equipped with 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a lush yard, a deck made for sunbathing and a 155-foot infinity-edge swimming pool with a rewarding view of the surrounding canyons. 

“Jen and Ben are as much in love as they ever have been and this last year of marriage has been, in a word, spectacular,” the source claimed. “They both are in such a great place romantically and emotionally with each other that it is spilling over to their professional lives as they both think they are doing some of the best work that they have ever done”

Lastly, the insider claimed the pair wanted to “celebrate their love at all times, whether people like it or not,” as they were happy to finally have the “relationship they have always wanted.”
