Jennifer Aniston’s Nickname For Sandra Bullock Was Revealed In Beautiful Tribute For Her Friend

Jul 27, 2023

Jennifer Aniston is one of America’s heartthrobs. The actress and producer was born to actor parents and has been in the movie industry since her late teens, starting with an uncredited role in “Mac and Me.” Following a series of other movies, she became an international star with her role as Rachel Green in the 1994 sitcom “Friends.”

Aniston played Green for a decade and became a pop icon with her hair. Since then, she has become an A-list actress with roles in different genres and has bagged a series of awards. The 54-year-old is also remarkable for her comedic timing, which has made her fit for movies such as “Murder Mystery” and its sequel.

Sandra Bullock is another A-lister who has earned her place in the movie industry. Bullock started acting at a young age and has since earned numerous awards, in addition to being named the highest-paid actress in the world in 2010 and 2014. The producer debuted in the movie “Hangmen” in 1987. Just like Aniston, Bullock is also known for her comedic timing and has featured in several comedy movies, including “The Proposal,” “The Lost City,” and “Miss Congeniality.”

Aniston and Bullock have been close friends for years. During Bullock’s 59th birthday on July 26, 2023, Aniston celebrated her friend’s birthday with a set of pictures on her Instagram Stories, which caught fans’ attention and warmed the hearts of many. While celebrating her dear friend, Aniston also revealed her secret nickname for Bullock. Continue reading to find out what the “Friends” star’s nickname for her friend is.

Aniston and Bullock’s relationship started with an introduction by a mutual friend, Tate Donovan. Interestingly, both actresses dated Donovan in the 90s, but it didn’t stop them from becoming close to each other. Perhaps, because of their good sense of humor, their relationship has lasted and grown stronger in the last decade.

Aniston and Bullock talked about how they met in February 2020 during an interview for Interview magazine’s cover story. They disclosed how Donovan introduced them to each other.

“(He) was a very patient human being, given that he dated us both,” Bullock joked

Aniston interjected

“He seems to have a type.”

On her part, Bullock described the referenced type and said:

“Talented. Funny. Kind. Introspective. Generous.”

Aniston also added to the list and said:

“Lovers of architecture, lovers of interior design.”

Bullock also shared her and Aniston’s second encounter with each other.

“The second time was at our friend Lorenzo’s wedding,” she revealed.

Aniston buttressed her point and added:

“I sent you a note and you sent me a shot.”

Both actresses also treated fans to a surprise in 2018 when Bullock crashed Aniston and Dolly Parton’s interview with Access as they discussed their latest movie at the time, “Dumplin'.” In a hilarious twist, Bullock brought a tray of cocktails and tequila shots with her.

It appeared that she didn’t plan the mischief alone, as Aniston was happy and said she had been waiting for the drinks. Meanwhile, Bullock disappeared just as quickly as she arrived. Interestingly, fans loved the little entertainment, and some even considered the interview the greatest of all time.

Meanwhile, the actresses have never appeared together in a film or television series despite their closeness and prominence.

Aniston put a smile on the faces of her and Bullock’s fans once more on July 26, 2023, when she posted some photos and a video on her Instagram Story to celebrate Bullock’s birthday. She also revealed her nickname for the actress.

Her first picture was of Bullock drinking from a mug inspired by the “Murder Mystery” star’s Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show,” which started in 2019. Bullock gave the camera a thumbs up in the picture.

“Happy Birthday Sand-a-La!!” Aniston wrote on the picture.

The next picture was a group photo of Bullock, Aniston’s “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox, and two other women on an outing in a restaurant.

“WE LOVE YOU!!!” Aniston wrote and added three red heart emojis.

She then posted a third picture that featured herself and Bullock and a friend and completed her train of thought from the second picture that said “SO MUCH!"

Aniston ended her post with a video of herself, Bullock, and their friend Sean Hayes baking. The footage showed Bullock looking over a recipe for making pumpkin cookies with Hayes. Bullock had a glass bowl on the counter where she mixed a batter.

After Bullock told Aniston that she was folding in the mixture, she asked what baking step was next. Meanwhile, Aniston wasn’t the only celebrity to wish Bullock a happy birthday. Octavia Spencer and Ryan Reynolds were also among those who wished her a happy birthday on social media.

Reynolds starred alongside Bullock in the romantic comedy “The Proposal” and made a joke out of one of the scenes in his birthday greeting. The father of four shared a clip of their nude scene from the film on his Instagram, where they both fell, and Bullock landed on top of him.
