Jennifer Aniston Announced She Wants A 'Friends' Reunion With All Her Co-Stars And Hints At A Possible Reboot
Jun 06, 2019
Can it be true?! On The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, Jennifer Aniston teased the thought that Friends could have a possible reboot. She opened up to the idea about the popular sitcom coming back while revealing her past costars would be willing to revive the show too.
Appearing for an interview on the Ellen show, Jennifer Aniston spoke about how she would want to resume her role as Rachel Green and how other cast members would surely do it as well.
"Why not?" Jen said when Ellen asked if a "Friends" reunion was a possibility, "You know what, because, listen, I told you this. I would do it. The girls [Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow] would do it. And the boys [David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc] would do it, I'm sure. Listen, anything could happen."

For years cast members of "Friends" have been asked if there would ever be a reunion. In 2017, Lisa Kudrow told E! News, "I don't see it happening. It would be fun, but what would it be about? Think about it." Kudrow added. "The thing we liked best about the show was that they were 20-somethings and they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?"
Similarly, Matt LeBlanc who played Joey on the show said in The Daily Mail in 2018, "To go back and revisit all these years later, well I don’t know what the story would be now. They would all have moved on from that period so it just wouldn’t be the same." LeBlanc went on to say he and his co-stars were younger then and he believes the characters should stay that way.
Despite these past comments from Jen's costars, she has been adamant over the last year that anything could be possible. She told Ellen last February that "Anything is a possibility. Anything, right? I mean, George Clooney got married."
