While it may affectionately be called a country home, it is truly a mansion fit for future kings. Currently, Prince Charles does still spend time there with his new wife, Camilla. Making the House Their Own

When Prince Charles and his family moved into Highgrove House in 1980, they came in with a plan to make it their own. Pictures released of the residence before the royals moved in reveal that one of the living rooms had a sofa surrounded by several armchairs, a wooden chest, and several lamps. The whole room was tied together with a floral theme.

After purchasing the home, Prince Charles made sure to fill up the space. In one photo, the future king is seen sitting on a cream-colored sofa, surrounded by a couple of dark chestnut tables. There are framed photos on the tables and artwork adorns the walls. The prince has cream-colored curtains surrounding the gorgeous window in the room. This living room got a splash of life with a vibrant houseplant sitting next to that same window.
