Hundreds of people from across the United States have pitched in to throw a 3-year-old girl named Angely a new birthday party in Houston, Texas days after a video recorded two neighbors ruining the first one on October 3, 2020.

As a loving parent, you can try your best to make your child's birthday special. Soany, the mother of 3-year-old Angely Barella, is no different. When Barella was turning 3, she ordered tables and chairs for the guests who would grace Barella’s birthday. They all looked forward to a memorable event.
In an attempt to make the party delightful, as KPRC 2 reports, Soany set everything up right outside her apartment. She also put up a bounce house — all in what appears in the video recording to be a “Baby Shark” theme. It sounds like quite a fantastic idea for a sweet little girl. The party was on October 3, 2020 in the afternoon, and the long-awaited moment had come: Angely’s third birthday party! There would be lots of merry-making, cake, music, and many drinks.

Meddling with the Neighbor’s Peace?
However, when the party had started at around twilight, Soany’s next-door neighbor raised complaints about the noise being loud, according to KPRC 2. The peace-loving Soany regulated the volume, but the neighbor would not hear any of it. Again, she complained about the chairs and tables being too close to her apartment. But these chairs had been there long before the party started, and they did not seem to disturb her peace.
What Followed Will Give You Mixed Reaction
The neighbor tossed a table. The mood changed, and so somebody spoiled the 3-year-old’s birthday just like that. Her mom's efforts also got trashed. A party that took months to plan was destroyed within minutes. Angely deserved a better gift than that.
But thanks to a group of good samaritans, the little angel was able to celebrate after all, as we'll see later in the story. Nearly everyone who watches the video taken that day gets disgusted at how an adult could devastate a baby. In a comment, one agitated viewer likened the harassment to the “grinch’s abortive attempt to steal Christmas.”
And another commenter wrote that if she were in Soany’s shoes, she would sue. According to her, the neighbor could ask Soany and her guests to move their tables and chairs further away and remain silent, but she chose to be melodramatic.
With the outcry that followed from the community, another party was inevitable. Barella’s family set up a GoFundMe, which would help them throw their princess another party. Although they aimed at raising $1,250, the well-wishers exceeded their expectations. Their account raised over $11,000. It’s an interesting story with a happy ending because little Barella will get the party she deserved. According to KPRC 2, the Barella family will celebrate on October 10 — and hopefully the neighbors are respectful this time.
