HGTV’s Star Erin Napier Shares Photo Of Slimmed Down Husband Ben Napier With Toddler Helen & Fans Are Thrilled

Home makeover stars Erin, and Ben Napier have been renovating people’s homes throughout Mississippi for years, helping bring to life people’s dream homes. Their hit HGTV show “Home Town” began its fifth season in January 2021, and a spin-off called “Home Town Takeover” aired in May of the same year. Throughout each episode of “Home Town,” the married couple works at restoring various southern homes in the town of Laurel, Mississippi. The couple does the same in “Home Town Takeover,” but in Wetumpka, Alabama, instead of Mississippi.

Erin and Ben first met when they were college students at the University of Mississippi and later got married in the year 2008. Together they have two daughters: Helen, who was born in January 2018, and Mae, who was born in May 2021. Both Ben and Erin have shared plenty of sweet memories together and have uploaded many photos of their amazing family to social media for the world to see.

While the married team is most well known for working great together and helping to provide other families with home makeovers, Ben has gone the extra mile to give himself his own makeover. In July 2021, Erin uploaded an adorable picture of Ben with their 3-year-old daughter Helen, showing off Ben’s new slimmed-down frame. Over the years, Ben had struggled with his weight but has since worked hard at changing his lifestyle for his family. Ben’s hard work at becoming a happier and healthier version of himself has paid off, leaving fans thrilled to see him thriving.

Erin and Ben are best known for being an iconic married team on the HGTV network. Their show “Home Town” has been on air since January 2016 and began its fifth season in January 2021. Throughout the series, the couple visits houses in the historic district of Laurel, Mississippi, and finds exciting ways to renovate them and bring some new life into the old homes. 

The Napier family was first featured in Southern Weddings magazine and on the magazine’s official Instagram page, resulting in many people becoming interested in the couple and their abilities as home renovators. After their editorial feature, the couple was contacted by HGTV, leading to the development of their own home makeover and improvement show. “Home Town” has since received great reviews from fans and critics alike.

With such a successful TV show, it was only natural that a spin-off was created, thus resulting in “Home Town Takeover,” which premiered in May 2021. The show follows a similar premise as “Home Town,” but takes place in the small town of Wetumpka, Alabama. According to the HGTV website, the new series has a long list of celebrity guests ready to lend their talents to the renovations, including singer Sheryl Crow, Food Network star Eddie Jackson, as well as many stars from HGTV.

“It’s too bad that small towns are so often undervalued because you can live a beautiful life in them,” Erin said. “People really want to believe in a bright future in the place where they live, but rebuilding a town is no small feat. It takes every member of that community using their gifts and skills coming together to make a difference.”

Back in 2019, Ben decided that he wanted to get healthy. While speaking to TODAY, Ben opened up about losing 55 pounds after revamping his diet and lifestyle. “Bringing Helen home and getting to experience those first few weeks with her and seeing how fast things change with children, it got my attention,” Ben said. “She was different every day, and I want to experience as much of her life as possible. I want a long life so I can be there for Erin and Helen.” 

Standing at 6 feet 6 inches tall, Ben used to weigh around 335 pounds, according to People. He began doing more cardio exercises and lifted weights four to five times a week while opting for a healthier diet as well.

As a happy mom and wife, Erin typically shares plenty of photographs of her husband and two daughters on her Instagram account, showing just how sweet of a bond the family members have with one another. On July 21, 2021, Erin uploaded a photo to her Instagram page showing off her husband’s new slim frame as he held their daughter Helen on his shoulders while on an outdoor walk. “I love parenting with you,” Erin wrote in the caption of the sweet photo. 

Ben looked incredible and in fantastic shape as he went on a nice walk with his daughter, showing off his new healthy and happy lifestyle. Many fans were ecstatic to see Ben in such great shape and shared their happiness in the comments. “What a sweet sentiment and even sweeter photo of dad and daughter!” one fan exclaimed.
