Heidi Klum, who rose to fame on the back of her stunning good looks that propelled her to the top of the fashion modeling industry, is no stranger to flaunting her beauty.
Born on June 1, 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, Klum has gone from being a top supermodel to adding television host, producer and businesswoman to her repertoire. With her stunning looks, infectious charm and unparalleled work ethic, Klum has become one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry. Throughout her illustrious career, she has not only conquered the catwalk but has also made significant contributions to various facets of the entertainment industry.
Klum's journey to superstardom began in a small town near Cologne, Germany. As a child, she displayed a passion for fashion and a natural talent for modeling. At the age of 18, Klum entered a national modeling contest in her home country, which eventually led to her signing a contract with Metropolitan Models in New York City.
In the mid-1990s, Klum's career skyrocketed when she became the first German model to feature on the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. This achievement propelled her into international stardom and opened doors to numerous opportunities in the fashion industry. She quickly became a favorite of renowned designers and brands, walking the runways for high-profile fashion houses like Versace, Chanel and Victoria's Secret. Klum hit a career-high in 2011 when Forbes named her the second-highest earning model that year with $20 million to her name.
Klum turned 49 in 2022 and shows no signs of slowing down even as she prepares to enter her 50s. Because of her good genes and commitment to health, she remains as trim as in her heyday and loves to flaunt her figure on social media.
Klum's success as a supermodel paved the way for a flourishing career in television and entertainment. In 2004, she took on the role of the host and executive producer of the reality TV show “Project Runway.” Her role on the show showcased her expertise in the fashion industry and provided a platform for aspiring designers to showcase their talent. Klum's witty humor, warmth and impeccable fashion sense endeared her to audiences around the world, leading to the show's immense popularity and critical acclaim.
Building upon the success of “Project Runway,” Klum further established herself as a prominent television personality. She hosted and judged various other reality TV shows, including "America's Got Talent" and "Germany's Next Topmodel." Her versatility as a host and her ability to connect with contestants and viewers alike made her a beloved figure on both sides of the Atlantic.
Klum's talents extend beyond the realm of modeling and television. She has successfully ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own fashion lines, fragrances and a diverse range of products. Her business ventures have not only showcased her entrepreneurial acumen but have also allowed her to influence and inspire others in the fashion industry.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Klum's personal life has also been of interest to the public. She has been married twice, including to musician Seal, before walking down the aisle again to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz. She has four children. Despite the demands of her career, Klum has managed to maintain a balance between her work and family life, often involving her children in her various projects. In May 2023, she and her eldest daughter, Leni Samuel, 19, appeared in a campaign for the Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi together.

Because of her years of experience as a fashion model, it probably comes as no surprise that Klum is extremely confident about her looks and figure. She frequently shares photos and videos flaunting her trim figure on social media. On July 30, 2022, the leggy beauty shared a dreamy photo of her wearing nothing but a pair of white bikini bottoms as she leaned on a railing and looked back toward the camera. A picturesque landscape of mountains and sea could be seen behind her, with the sun on the horizon creating some beautiful shadows. She captioned the post:
“☀️👙❤️🥰 My hot girl summer 2022.”
This wasn’t the first time Klum had shared some risqué shots of herself. Just a few days prior, she shared a black-and-white photo of herself lying on a four-poster bed in the nude with only her arms covering her chest. She again took to Instagram to share a short clip of herself in an orange and pink string bikini reclining in a chair as the wind swayed palm trees behind her. “Monday 🌝 🏝😎❤️,” was all she captioned the post.
It’s clear Klum was absolutely in her element during her vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the freedom to dress – or not at all – as she saw fit. According to Sports Illustrated, Klum once told Ocean Drive she is completely comfortable going nude.
“I grew up going to nude beaches with my parents, so I’m a nudist," Klum told the magazine. "I have no problems with nudity at all. I’m very free. When I go to the beach, it’s in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people, and I like to go topless.”
