Gwen Stefani’s Eldest Son Kingston Rossdale Performs Live For Very First Time At Stepdad Blake Shelton’s Bar
Aug 15, 2023
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are one of Hollywood's most adorable couples. From the beginning of their romance in 2015 when they were both coaches on "The Voice," to their frequent social media posts about each other where they often declare their love for one another, the couple has shared an incredibly sweet high-profile romance for over seven years.
After dating for over five years, during which both would frequently gush about the other during interviews and on social media, it became a hot topic about whether they'd ever get married, with the couple frequently having to field questions about any rumored engagements.
In 2021, the couple had their gorgeous wedding at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch, which was officiated by none other than Carson Daly, the host of "The Voice." Since then, the couple had been living in wedded bliss, and they've even occasionally performed together while introducing the other as their husband or wife.
After celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Shelton revealed that instead of focusing on his country music career, he is focusing on his family. Stefani has three children, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo Rossdale, whom she shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
Shelton said that he loves his career, but he has entered a new phase of his life that looks different than any other phase in his life. Now, he is a doting stepfather to Stefani's three sons.
In 2023, it appears that Shelton is doing a great job as a stepfather, as his bond with Stefani’s eldest son, Kingston, was captured on stage when he introduced him for his debut performance.

In August 2023, Gwen Stefani’s eldest son, Kingston, made his first on-stage performance, and it appears that he is following in the footsteps of his musician parents. According to Access Hollywood, the 17-year-old debuted at his stepdad Blake Shelton’s bar called Old Red in Oklahoma, with a live band. Before Kingston went up on stage, Shelton was the one who introduced him to the crowd as he said, “I’m very excited and I’m actually honored to be the first one to introduce this guy to the stage for the very first time.”
In a video posted by Cathy Copeland Robbins on Facebook, the country singer noted that he didn’t want to spoil too much about the performer next to him, but he assured the crowd that he was an “artist” and the “real deal.”
As the crowd got hyped and started to cheer, Shelton didn’t waste any time welcoming Kingston on stage.
“He’s only 17 years old everybody, here he is, Mr. Kingston Rossdale,” he said.
Kingston, who donned casual clothing as he wore a gray shirt and a pair of pants, then started his first performance ever, which revolved around the genre of rock. The young boy didn’t appear to be nervous as he continued to belt out his song without any hesitation.
“This young man did a phenomenal job for his first time on a stage in front of hundreds of people… They were some extremely proud parents last night and he worked the crowd like he’d done it a bunch of times,” Robbins wrote in the caption.
After the performance, Access Hollywood reported that Kingston gave Shelton a big hug.

It seems like Shelton enjoyed his role as a stepfather to Stefani’s three sons as he told Country Countdown in an interview, as reported by Glamour, that although he didn’t know that he was signing up for it at first, he later fell in love with the three kids as much as he did with his wife.
