Gwen Stefani Shares Rare Bare-Faced Photo As Blake Shelton Reveals No-Makeup Is His 'Favorite Thing To See On Her'

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are one of Hollywood's power couples who are widely admired by showbiz fans. The couple's relationship, which started with them both coaching on "The Voice" in 2015, has, over the years, transcended into something more beautiful and wholesome. The pair constantly make social media posts flaunting their love to the delight of their admirers. 

Shelton and Stefani have been going strong for seven years. Although Stefani is a very beautiful woman famously known for her signature cat eye and red lipstick look, Shelton shared that a different look was his favorite thing to see her rock. In November 2017, the "Honey Bee" singer opened up to People about what he most cherished when it came to Stefani’s looks. 

The duo dated for five years before Shelton proposed to the "Make Me Like You" singer in October 2021 in a chapel on his Oklahoma ranch. In July 2021, the couple tied the knot at the "Nobody but You" singer's ranch. The couple has continued to enjoy their relationship and even performed together occasionally while flaunting their marital titles during introductions.

To show how much effort Shelton was willing to put into his family, he revealed that instead of solely focusing on his career as a country singer, he wanted to focus on his family. The singer's family included Stefani and her sons, Apollo Rossdale, Zuma Rossdale, and Kingston Rossdale, who she had with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Although Shelton admitted that he loved his career, a new phase of life, being a stepdad to three kids with an amazing wife took more priority.

In 2022, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton opened up about his new life with the "Hollaback Girl" singer. He shared that although he loved his job and his career, "those things all take a backseat now to Stefani and the kids and it’s just a new phase of my life"

He also revealed that he did not see his life taking the turn it took and that he could not guess Stefani being a part of it before they met. Shortly after the duo started dating, Shelton shared with Billboard that the "Rich Girl" singer was "all I care about." 

In an interview in November 2022, the "She Wouldn't Be Gone" singer revealed that he "married into a family," but he also hinted that Stefani once had concerns about whether he wanted to be a stepdad. Fortunately, Shelton's father married his mother when she already had a child. He shared that his dad was a great example. He explained:

"My dad did it. My dad raised me. I could do this. I didn't know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it. And every day I've fallen in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen."

The adorable couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary on July 4, 2023, and took to Instagram to express their unending love. In an interview with People, Shelton opened up about how he was seizing every opportunity to be with his family. He shared that he would regret it if he missed out on the most important thing in his life: their kids.

In 2017, Shelton was named People's Sexiest Man Alive, and while speaking with the publication at the time, he shared his favorite thing about his gorgeous wife. He explained:

“My favorite thing to see on her — and I don’t mean this to sound cheesy — is no makeup on whatsoever.” He added: "She’s literally ageless. It’s unbelievable.”

However, the "God Gave Me You" singer did not deny that Stefani could pull off a red lip effortlessly. He added, "the Gwen that nobody gets to see is the one that you all should see.” He continued that when the mother-of-three went without makeup, she looked 25. He said, "I don’t know what kind of genetics God gave her, but it’s unbelievable!”

During an interview in 2021, Shelton also shared with Access Hollywood that he wished Stefani's beauty could rub off on him. The interviewer asked Shelton at the time: "Are you in awe even more and then you fall more in love every time you see this woman? Because by the way it's like she's aging backwards." Shelton joked, "It's unbelievable and I was hoping that somehow by us getting married that I would somehow inherit some of her genetics." He also added that he could not get used to how beautiful Stefani looked every day. 

In May 2016, the "What You Waiting For?" singer shared a make-up-free selfie on Instagram, and fans could not get enough of it. One fan commented, "She looks beautiful and younger without makeup!!!" Another gushed over her natural face “WOW...you are way way more gorgeous without any makeup on at all!!!!”

In the snap, Stefani looked fresh-faced, leaving her porcelain smooth skin on display while playfully throwing her blonde tresses over her oval-shaped face. Many of her admirers commented on her ageless looks.
