Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Welcome 'Adorable' New Members To Their Family
Apr 19, 2023
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are one of Hollywood's most beloved couples. The pair met on the set of the popular singing competition show, "The Voice," when they were both coaches and quickly developed a close friendship that eventually turned into romance. They later revealed that they initially bonded as they were both going through divorces at the same time.
One of the reasons Shelton and Stefani's relationship captured the public's attention is their seemingly unlikely pairing. Shelton is a country boy from Oklahoma, while Stefani is a California girl who made her name in the rock and pop music worlds.
Stefani is a pop singer and songwriter who rose to fame in the 1990s as the lead singer of the rock band No Doubt, and she's also released several successful solo albums, including "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." and "This Is What the Truth Feels Like."
Meanwhile, Shelton is a country music singer and songwriter who has released numerous hit songs throughout his career, including "Austin," "Some Beach" and "God's Country." He was also named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2017.
After forming a friendship based on mutual trust, the musicians' relationship quickly blossomed into something more. They made their public debut as a couple in November 2015 when they were spotted holding hands at a Halloween party. Their adorable union kept them in the news, and within a few years there were wedding bells for the pair. They eventually married in July 2021, at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch.
Since then, the couple — alongside Stefani's three sons from her first marriage — have lived together, and now, it seems, they have multiple new additions to their household. In April 2023, Stefani shared via Instagram that their cat had given birth to six kittens!

Shelton and Stefani may seem like an unlikely pair, but the loved-up couple has proven that opposites really do attract! Considered a power couple in Hollywood, they've proven themselves individually in their respective careers and also together, as they've collaborated on more than one occasion.
Stefani has been nominated a total of 18 times at the Grammy Awards, with three wins, while her husband has been nominated nine times but has yet to win a Grammy. But that doesn’t mean Shelton is on the losing end of awards ceremonies. He is, in fact, a recipient of 10 Country Music Association Awards, six Academy of Country Music Awards and seven People's Choice Awards.
Both musicians have also made their mark on "The Voice," where they met. Shelton has been a judge for 23 seasons, while Stefani has only been a coach for six. However, in October 2022, Shelton announced he would be stepping back from the show after his 23rd season, in order to spend more time with Stefani and his stepsons. He told People:
"Gwen and I have done so much traveling and touring and work the first half of our lives that now we're like, 'Hey, I'm good to put my sweatpants on at 6 p.m. and watch Ozark eight times. ... That's our life now, and we love it."
He added:
"If I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I'm missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that's our kids. This isn't about me anymore and never will be again."
Not only will the couple have more time to spend with each other and their kids, but they'll also have more time for the litter of kittens that came into their lives in April 2023!

Stefani posted about the new additions to their family on Instagram, and she was clearly overjoyed. Alongside a video of mama cat and her litter, Stefani wrote:
"our cat had 6 sweet kittens this morning and we were all there to watch - it was such an incredible experience !! they r sooo cute 😻😻"
Their cat, who it seems was recently adopted, appears to be a gorgeous white, gray and ginger color, and her kittens are each different shades of ginger, black and gray tabby — too adorable!
Some fans were delighted at the news, as one wrote, "Cuteness overload," while another said: "This is such a joyful video.. I love cats and this is so beautiful ... they are so adorable."
However, not everyone was so positive. Others thought it was irresponsible that Stefani and Shelton hadn't spayed their cat, and they weren't afraid to sound off in the comments.
"Are u going to take care of them all? Why wldnt u have spayed your cat?," one user wrote. Another said: "Please spay her. We have a pet overpopulation problem!"
Meanwhile, other fans came to Stefani's defense. One wrote:
"Omg people. She’s gwensteffani for god sake! She can afford even 100 cats in her house 🤦🏻♀️ she adopted the cat few weeks ago and she’s doing a great job for not buying a cat but ADOPT!"
Another said: "The comments 🤦🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️. Judging like you all know the backstory of how the cat got prego. They’ve been born and they are in a clearly loving environment. Be kind."
