Goldie Hawn Shares Photograph Of Granddaughter Rio And It’s Clear She’s Her Mini-Me

Goldie Hawn has had a prolific acting career throughout her life, but she has never let that get in the way of her personal life. With Kurt Russell, a partner of over 30 years, Hawn has set out the ultimate couple goals, and the bar is set quite high when one looks at their adorable photos and their journey. In an industry where real-life romances don't last very long, Russell and Hawn have been together since 1983 for almost four decades and are an inspiration. 

The ageless beauty Hawn has raised her kids to be good people and is now helping out with her grandchildren. With 4 children and 7 grandchildren, Hawn certainly has her hands full as a grandma. In particular, her granddaughter Rio, who is her son Oliver Hudson's daughter, seems to be a chip off the old block and is taking after her grandmother. 

In a photo uploaded on May 20, 2021, fans were quick to point out that Rio has taken after her beautiful grandmother. This isn't the first time that this has happened, as previous photos of the plucky and adorable Rio have elicited similar reactions. When it comes to who looks more like Goldie Hawn, Rio may beat out everyone else in the family!

Her blond hair, her eyes are that large and beautiful just like Hawn's, along with same facial shape are just some features that take after Hawn. Rio also seems to have the same spunkiness and quirkiness that has made Hawn one of the most famous actresses of her time. 

Over the years, Hawn and Russell have made it clear that family matters above everything else to them. According to Hello! Magazine, Hawn is "incredibly close" to all her grandchildren and was even present for all of their births. Hawn told Australian Women's Weekly, "A good family is the answer to happiness." She added,

"I look at our kids and grandchildren and there's nothing in the world that could make me as proud as I am of all of them. Being a grandmother is amazing, I love it. It brings incredible joy. Family is so important."

Hawn's partner of 37 years, Kurt, also plays a big part in their family's life. The fact that the couple has been married for nearly 40 years just goes to show their commitment to family life. The couple share son Wyatt, and have co-parented all their children in their blended family. Kurt had son Boston Russell from a previous marriage to Season Hubley, while Hawn has children Kate and Oliver with ex-husband Bill Hudson.

From Hawn's side, the couple has six grandchildren. Oliver shares three children with his wife Erinn Bartlett: Wilder, 13, Bodhi, 10, and Rio, 6. Meanwhile, Hawn is also grandmother to Kate's three children: Ryder, 16, Bingham, 9, from her previous marriage to Matt Bellamy, and 1-year-old Rani with singer Danny Fujikawa.

Most recently, Wyatt welcomed his first child, a son, with his wife Meredith Hagner. The couple named him Buddy, and while the date of Buddy's birth is not yet clear, in an Instagram post Hagner revealed that he was born two weeks after they had a photo shoot for Vogue Magazine.

It is also important for Hawn to celebrate big events with her grandchildren throughout the year, such as Rio's preschool graduation and charity functions for the Goldie Hawn Foundation. Photos of such events on her social media show how close the family truly feels with one another. Rio in particular has always caught fans' eyes because of how much she takes after her grandmother. In Hawn's most recent Instagram post, Rio makes this uncanny resemblance even clearer.

Hawn set up The Hawn Foundation 2003, which created the MindUP educational program based on all of the latest scientific knowledge about the neurodevelopment of children.

Fans quickly picked up on the resemblance, and one person pointed out, "Somebody looks just like grandma." Fans can see that Rio is a mini version of Hawn, which is clear in the comments section as one person wrote, "She's a doll. Totally your mini," and another added, "Mini Goldie, for sure."

Fans have echoed the same sentiment in previous photographs of Rio as well. One photograph on Hawn's Instagram page, for example, is a goofy one of Rio with her legs in the air. It seems as though Rio has inherited her grandma's goofiness as well, especially when you see older photos of Hawn from early on in her career.
