Five Navy Sailors Perform Tracks From The '60s And Brings House Down

Five sailors in the Navy have banded together and they call themselves the Sea Chanters. The 2014 Concert on the Avenue for the US Navy Memorial at Memorial Plaza in Washington, DC is where the Sea Chanters performed and captivated all the spectators. Their performance included musical selections from Jersey Boys.
At first, the audience didn’t know what to expect from the Sea Chanters. They were blown away when they turned their faces to the audience and started singing. You can tell by watching the presentation that the Sea Chanters put their all into practicing and preparing for this performance.

The Sea Chanters faced the audience with their backs before the song started. First, the orchestra played its melody and it left the audience wondering what type of song they’d be singing. The band sang classic ‘60s songs that enthralled the audience.
As their performance continued, the crowd was dancing and singing along to the classic ‘60s songs. Some parts of each song the Sea Chanters would sing together. Each member of the band would take turns singing their own solos throughout the songs as well. It was a balanced and harmonious performance that surely uplifted the spirits of the attending Navy Seals and all the other attendees, too.
The Sea Chanters surely captivated the entire audience. The lovely inspiration behind the songs had everyone captivated in some way. Even those that chose not to sing and dance along were observing the performance with grins on their faces.
Some feel good ‘60s songs are sometimes what Navy Seals need to break loose and have fun! With so much work and responsibility protecting their country as the Navy Seals, it’s good to sit back and watch a fun performance to unwind and recharge. The Navy Seals attendees of the audience were able to do just this as their comrades and colleagues were able to do their part to entertain them during this recreational time!
