Fans Drop Harsh Comments About Simon Cowell’s Unrecognizable Face On ‘BGT’ Promo
Dec 05, 2022
Notorious talent-show judge Simon Cowell now has a new lease on life thanks to a strict, healthy lifestyle he follows, which includes regular exercise and a well-balanced, nutritious diet.
The singing and talent judge has been famous for his work on shows such as “American Idol,” “The X Factor,” “Britain's Got Talent,” as well as “America's Got Talent.”
He is often known to make headlines with his blunt and controversial comments as a talent show judge, sometimes including insults and even wisecracks at the contestants' expense and their singing abilities. However, Cowell's harsh criticism has paid off, as he has brought together groups such as Fifth Harmony and One Direction.
When he is not busy judging others on television or working with various musical artists, Cowell spends time with his family, which is made up of his longtime girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their adorable son Eric, who live together in their family home in Malibu, California.
Over the last year and months, Cowell has been through several difficult things in his life. He was hospitalized following a serious accident involving a new electric bicycle and had to spend many weeks in physical therapy.
His appearance has also been questioned in recent years, as many people have continued to point out that Cowell looks different as the years pass by, specifically his face.
However, the mogul has since admitted that he went too far with injectables, including botox and filler. Very recently, a new video of him emerged online, with the public in shock at how unrecognizable he has become.

Cowell was born on Oct. 7, 1959, in Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom, to a middle-class family. Establishing himself as a big name in the music business, Cowell was looked at as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. He became a judge on the popular talent competition show "American Idol" in 2002 in the United States.
As a judge, he was extremely blunt with contestants and was looked at as the mean one compared to the others on the judging panel, namely Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul.
Now 63 years old, Cowell had been publicly known to have used botox and fillers to keep his youthful appearance on television.
In 2020, Cowell was called out by Dr. Anthony Youn, a respected plastic surgeon, for having too much botox and filler injected into his face. That same year, Cowell sustained injuries after he fell off a new electric trail bike outside his Malibu home and broke his back.
The incident even left him having to take a break from his beloved job as a judge on “America’s Got Talent.” Since then, Cowell has implemented plenty of healthy lifestyle changes, and many fans have noticed just how different the music mogul looks.
Earlier this year, Cowell revealed that he felt as if he needed to step away from messing with his face, especially using fillers. According to The Sun, he said that he looked “like something out of a horror film.” He explained:
“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all. Enough was enough,” Cowell said. “There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

Months after his last statement, Cowell made an appearance on one of “Britain’s Got Talent’s” promotional videos, which left fans and the public asking – what happened to Simon Cowell?
In a now-deleted video of Cowell inviting people to audition for the next season of “Britain’s Got Talent,” the talent show judge looked rather different as his face was seemingly more shiny and smooth despite his stubble growing out.
Cowell is also evidently thinner compared to his previous photos in the past months. This could be supported by the fact that he has embarked on a weight loss journey due to his electronic bike accident.
In April 2022, Cowell told The Sun about losing 60 lbs and his very strict diet.
“It was just pies. So he sent me a list of things I can’t eat, and that included red meat, dairy, sugar and gluten. And I pretty much stuck to it,” he told the outlet.
However, this did not stop people from giving him harsh comments on social media, as he is now on the receiving end of the blunt remarks he was infamously known for as a judge.
“What in the world happened to Simon Cowell in his most recent video yesterday, he looks absolutely NOTHING like himself!?!” a user tweeted.
“simon cowell’s wax work looks better than he does at this point” another pointed out, alongside a photo of Cowell’s Madame Tussaud’s wax figure.
“Why has Simon Cowell done this to himself? He looks like he’s re-entered the earth’s atmosphere face first,” another person asked.
Meanwhile, it is not yet known if Cowell decided to pursue a cosmetic procedure as an alternative to his decision to quit botox and face fillers, as his face is now seemingly thinner.
