Fans Blast Coco Austin For 'Creepy' Clip Where She Kisses Her 7-Year-Old Daughter Chanel

As one of the prominent Hollywood stars with a sexy body, Coco Austin has garnered a lot of attention over the years. Austin is known for being a swimsuit model, a television personality, and the wife of rapper-actor Ice-T. Being a public figure, the actress has received several backlash, mostly centered on her lifestyle. Austin has also been subjected to several scrutiny regarding her parenting style toward her daughter, Chanel.

The mother of one often displays her affection to her daughter publicly and without restrictions. In an August 2023 post, the mother and daughter displayed their affection, which garnered positive and negative reactions. Austin, who is otherwise known as Nicole Natalie Marrow-Austin, met her husband in 2001 on a music video set after a mutual friend introduced them. The couple tied the knot in January 2002 and have both been supportive in their careers. As a couple, they had a popular reality TV show called "Ice Loves Coco '' which aired from 2011 to 2013.

After being married for nearly 14 years, the power couple welcomed their first child together, Chanel, in 2015. However, the "Law & Order" actor has two adult children, LeTesha, and Tracy Jr., from separate past relationships. Since the birth of Chanel, the mother of one has not failed to show her affection toward her daughter. Apart from the fact that the model has been receiving criticisms regarding her parenting techniques, some people have also criticized her choice of clothing. 

Austin has received several backlash for some of her apparel which some individuals have deemed inappropriate for her age and as a mother of a little girl. One such was when Austin received criticism after she posted a video that showed an unconventional bathing method for her daughter.

In a September 2022 Instagram post, Austin shared a video showing herself and her daughter getting ready to attend a Patricia Field fashion show. In the video, Chanel was seen in the kitchen sink taking a bath while playing with a tablet. The caption over the clip read:

"The sink is easiest when you have to be fast."

Another shot showed Chanel dressed like a schoolgirl in a long-sleeve black top and pink tartan skirt. Both mother and daughter were adorable together in their outfits. Some individuals could not help but admire Austin's sink bath hack. One person commented:

"Yep! If the sink is big enough … I have a two-year-old, and if he could fit in mine, that's where he would be most of the time! And so I'm not bending over hurting my back lol."

Another viewer affirmed that "Sink baths are the best." However, Austin also received backlash for her technique. One user commented: "I'm not jealous I'm just a mom looking at this at this as if she is still treating her little girl as a baby instead of as a grown up little young lady. She needs to be in the bathtub like all the other kids." 

Austin clapped back at the comments days later as she was in awe that her sink bathing technique had gone viral. The model then affirmed that she is indeed "an unconventional mother."

The OnlyFans model was also criticized for kissing her daughter in a video. Austin shared a video of herself and her daughter having a sweet mother-daughter moment. The video was captioned: 

"Having fun with my Samsung phone, it actually takes great video underwater .. Chanel just loves kissing her mama doesn't she? She is adorable ..She is my obsession."

In the clip, the affectionate mother and daughter were seen embracing when they reached the bottom of the pool, and they shared a kiss. The video has since received various controversial comments and criticisms. One critic commented, "The kissing is weirddddddd im sorry not sorry." A second person echoed a similar sentiment, “The kissing thing is a bit weird, though.”

Another person commented, One person mentioned, “So apparently no one else thinks that much kissing is creepy, or the comments are being deleted.” However, some of Austin's fans did not see anything wrong with the video and came to her defense. The model fans tagged the negative reactions as the people "oversexualized" Austin's kiss with her daughter.

Austin was also slammed a few days prior to the Instagram post where she kissed her daughter affectionately underwater. The TV personality donned a pink, blue, and purple bikini and shared the snaps on social media.

The mother of one faced backlash online for her posing position. One user joked that Austin had her daughter's top on. Another wrote, "What a poor disgusting example she is for her child." 

In July 2023, Austin was also the subject of online trolling as people criticized her outfit. The model shared some photos to celebrate the Fourth of July. Austin had on a red Arizona crop top that did little to cover her breasts, floral sunglasses, and a tiny white thong. The actress was criticized for her attire, but some of her fans and her husband, Ice-T, wasted no time shutting down the trolls.
