Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, And Chris Stapleton's "BLOW" Is Our New Favorite Rock Tune

Jul 08, 2019

Just seconds into the track, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton’s new rock anthem “BLOW” will get you headbanging like it’s 1985. The trio came together in an unprecedented collaboration to record a tune for Sheeran’s new album, “No.6 Collaborations Project”, which drops on July 12th.

The jam is not one you would expect from Sheeran, Mars or even Stapleton. The trio combine soft and gritty vocals and a breathtaking guitar solo to create a pleasantly surprising track that’s bound to be one of the top hits for 2019.

The single is set to show up on Sheeran’s new album, No. 6 Collaborations Project, although it was actually produced by Mars. The album, which will be making its full debut on July 12th, is set to be filled with collaboration projects featuring various artists. Sheeran has already blessed us with other singles from the album like “I Don’t Care” which featured Justin Bieber, and “Cross Me” with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock. According to The Rolling Stone, the album will have 15 tracks overall and will feature 22 music artists including Cardi B, Eminem, and Camila Cabello.

The music video for the track features a girl band performing the track at an ‘underground’ rock concert. Cherish Waters, who was a contestant on the 23rd Cycle of America’s Next Top Model, stands in for Ed Sheeran as the lead of the girl band.
