Devoted Mom Gets Makeover That Has Her Looking Gorgeous For Her 50th Birthday

Amy contacted The Makeover Guy for a new look that could be both professional and classy for her 50th birthday. The result has her smiling ear to ear! 

Amy is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where she works as an OBGYN to support her two teenage sons. For her, being a mother to her two boys is her main job, while her job of "delivering babies, doing surgeries, and not sleeping" is to support her main job of raising her kids. Many devoted mothers can relate to Amy! 

She tells Christopher Hopkins, a.k.a The Makeover Guy, that she has been growing her hair out and cutting it over and over, which mostly leaves her hair in an "in-between stage". She also tells him that she has had all the hairstyles under the sun in the past, including short hair with spikes that stick up. The reason for her constant hair chopping is her fine, thin hair, which she wants to transform into something more classy and professional. 

For many women, it can be hard finding a hairdo that both looks and feels good, as well as adheres to a professional standard. For Amy, her new haircut needed to be more professional and polished. She also says, "I don't want to look like a boy, and I don't want to look fat." These two conditions were important for her to be addressed in the final outcome. 

She also quotes that she turning 50 in the video, which for many people is a great milestone to celebrate with a makeover. Christopher hears her loud and clear and delivers a look that has Amy visibly excited.

When she first sees the result, she says, "I didn't really recognize myself at first!"  Christopher was able to find a hairstyle that suited both her professional personal needs.

He doesn't go overboard and give her an all-new look, but merely works with Amy's strengths. Her hair is cut shorter and dyed with a lighter hair color that is subtle but certainly makes a difference. Her hair has also been fluffed up a little for added volume. Along with this, her makeup highlights her sharp and beautiful facial features, especially her bright smile. 

Amy goes onto say that Christopher was able to see who she really was inside and pull that person out. She admitted that she didn't recognize herself in the mirror. Before her makeover, one of her main desires was to feel classy with a new do. 

"I feel very classy, very pretty, I feel, true", she says with a dazzling smile as she admires the results of Christopher's makeover.
