The Voice’s twelfth season is set in motion with this old-fashioned jam session recording. For this unique performance, the four coaches sit circled around each other in a cool rehearsal area equipped with vintage microphones for this adaptation of the classic R&B hit.
“Waterfalls” was originally written in 1994 for the famous all girl pop/R&B group TLC. The notorious hit was featured on TLC's second album “Crazy Sexy Cool”. The "Crazy Sexy Cool" album was certified platinum, and the single, “Waterfalls” topped charts worldwide at No. 1 in 1995. The pop/R&B hit even earned two respective nominations for TLC at the 38th Annual Grammy Awards in 1996.
