Clint Eastwood’s 8 Kids Pose Together – Including The Daughter He Didn’t Know He Had

Jun 24, 2021

Clint Eastwood has been a pinnacle figure in the movie industry for well over 65 years. As an actor, film director, composer, and producer, Eastwood has been a highlight in the film industry in many areas, as well as some time in the television industry. Most known for his work as an actor and director, Eastwood found his claim to fame during the 1950s, and the rest is history. The icon starred in projects such as the Western TV series “Rawhide” and movies like “Dirty Harry,” “Million Dollar Baby,” “Every Which Way but Loose,” and “Escape from Alcatraz.”

When he is not in front of the screen stealing the spotlight, Eastwood has made sure to make his voice and opinions heard in his work behind the scenes as a producer and director. As a producer, he began his own production company called Malpaso Productions, which has produced all but four of his American films. Some of Eastwood’s directing projects include “Mystic River” from 2003, “Letters from Iwo Jima” in 2006, and the 2014 war drama biopic “American Sniper. The latter, which starred Bradley Cooper, went on to become one of Eastwood’s most successful films to date.

His work across the entertainment industry has led him to great success and plenty of awards and accolades along the way, including wins and nominations for Academy AwardsGolden Globe Awards, and an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also presented at the Cannes Film Festival multiple times and has one out of his four award nominations.

Eastwood was not always a shining star amongst others. During his school years, he struggled to keep up with classmates and received poor grades. He held back a year and even had to attend summer school. While it’s unclear whether Eastwood ever graduated from high school, it has not stood in his way of making a name for himself and becoming an extremely popular figure in the entertainment industry.

While his work life has been incredibly productive and successful, Eastwood’s personal life has been just as bountiful, and at times has even seen like a movie with all of the twists and turns he has encountered along the way. The entertainment star served for two years as the mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea in California after being elected in April 1986. In 2001, Governor Gray Davis appointed him to the California State Park and Recreation Commission.

In December 2020, Outsider reported that Eastwood and his eight children were able to come together for an iconic picture at the premiere of “The Mule” in 2018, a movie for which Eastwood starred in and worked as a director on. With such a busy career and having spent so much time in the spotlight, it’s a wonder how Eastwood has managed to keep up with all of his children. Despite having such a long and unpredictable history regarding his relationships, Eastwood was surprised when he found out that he had a daughter that he had previously not known about. In fact, Eastwood has actually never confirmed just how many children he has, but the publicly known amount is eight. The star’s dating history is complicated and publicly began when he got engaged with his first wife, Maggie Johnson, in 1953. However, Outsider reported that he had an affair with an unnamed woman from Seattle during this time.

This wasn’t the only affair Eastwood had during his marriage to Johnson, as he also impregnated actress and stunt woman Roxanne Tunis. She gave birth to Eastwood’s second daughter, Kimber, in 1964. A few years later, Eastwood and Johnson finally had a child of their own when Kyle Eastwood was born in 1968, followed by Alison Eastwood in 1972. Unsurprisingly, the couple’s marriage didn’t last, and they divorced in 1984.

Following this, Eastwood quickly moved on and had two children with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. Their children include Scott Eastwood, who was born in 1986, and Kathryn Eastwood, who was born in 1988. The star continued dating and had another child, Francesca Eastwood, in 1993 with actress Frances Fisher. Finally, it seemed like Eastwood had found his match, and he settled down with Dina Ruiz in 1996, and she gave birth to Morgan Eastwood later that year. Eastwood was 72 at the time. The pair later divorced in 2014.

Eastwood has since found love with Christina Sandera, but revealed that he “doesn’t see the point” in getting married again, according to a source’s conversation with Closer Weekly. The couple has been together since 2014 when they met at Sandera’s place of work at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel. Their relationship moved quickly, and they moved in together relatively soon. Luckily, their relationship is still going strong, and the entire Eastwood clan has gotten to meet and get to know Sandera. According to Closer Weekly, the whole crew likes her.

Having both of her parents in the entertainment industry must have rubbed off on Kimber as she followed them into showbiz, working as a film producer and makeup artist. She even was the makeup artist for “The Mule” and the head of the makeup department on “Dog The Bounty Hunter” and “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.”

Much like her father, Kimber’s personal life has had its fair share of ups and downs. Closer Weekly reported that she married her first husband, Anthony Gaddie, in 1983 and had one child together named Clinton. The couple divorced in 1990, and Kimber moved on to her second husband, Douglas McCartney. The two split ten years later. Kimber did not give up on her chance to find the love of a lifetime and married her current husband, Shawn Midkiff, in 2014.

Kyle Eastwood

Some of Eastwood’s off-screen work has included his musical endeavors. Throughout his life, Eastwood has had a strong passion for music, especially jazz, country, and western music. He has even composed some film scores, including “Million Dollar Baby,” “Flags of our Fathers,” “Grace Is Gone,” and “Mystic River.” The star is a talented pianist and has also written songs alongside other notable celebrities and professional songwriters, including Carole Bayer Sager and Linda Thompson

Eastwood has passed on his passion to his son Kyle, who has become a successful jazz bassist and composer. Kyle has released plenty of music over the years, including the albums “From There to Here” and “The View From Here.” Kyle also got bit by the acting bug and appeared as a child in his father’s movie “Honkytonk Man,” as well as a number of other films. Ultimately it was music that stole his heart and for which he is incredibly talented. He’s credited as a composer or musician on various movies, including “Million Dollar Baby,” “Flags of our Fathers,” and “Gran Torino.”

Alison Eastwood

Like the rest of her family, Alison also ventured into the entertainment industry. She has worked primarily as an actress and director, much like her father. She even co-starred in his movie “The Mule.” As a director, she has worked on “Rails & Ties,” “Battlecreek,” and the television series “Boned.” Veering away from show business, Alison has also worked on pursuing her passion for animals and even founded the Eastwood Ranch Foundation in 2012 to help rescue pets from high-risk shelters and provide care until they find their forever home.

Closer Weekly reported that Alison had been married twice. Her marriage with her first partner, Kirk Fox, lasted from 1999 until 2000. She is currently married to her second spouse, American chainsaw carving sculptor Stacy Poitras, with the couple having tied the knot back in 2013.

Scott Eastwood

Known as Eastwood’s most famous child, Scott grew up to not only look just like his famous father but also followed in his footsteps and entered the world of show business. Scott has starred in an array of movies, including “Suicide Squad” alongside co-stars Will SmithViola Davis, and Margot Robbie, as well as other films like “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and “The Longest Ride.” He even appeared in a Taylor Swift music video for her song “Wildest Dreams,” and is the host of his own podcast titled “Live Life Better with Scott Eastwood.”

The gorgeous man also has the title of model under his belt. With a stoic face and piercing eyes, it’s easy to see why the handsome man has become so successful in multiple professional facets. Photographed by Noe DeWitt, Scott posed for a photo shoot for Town & Country Magazine.

Kathryn Eastwood

If you guessed that Kathryn has also worked on making her name known in Hollywood just like the rest of her family, you would be correct. The daughter of Eastwood and Reeves has appeared in projects such as “Jersey Boys” and “Virus of the Dead.” At first, she went by her birth name — Alison Ann Reeves but later switched to the famous moniker Eastwood for her professional name.

Francesca Eastwood

Like Kathryn, Francesca chose to ditch her last name Fisher-Eastwood and keep it short and simple with the famous moniker when she entered the acting industry. She had her very first role in 1995 when she was just a toddler in the movie “The Stars Fell on Henrietta.” Francesca has even appeared in some of her father’s films, including “True Crime” and “Jersey Boys,” as well as the television series “Fargo” and “Twin Peaks.” In September 2018, she blessed Eastwood with a grandchild and had a baby boy named Titan with her boyfriend Alexander Wraith, who is also an actor.

Morgan Eastwood

Morgan’s parents are Eastwood and Ruiz, who met when Ruiz interviewed the former in 1992. As the youngest member of the Eastwood family, Morgan has managed to live a more quiet life compared to her famous siblings, as she has only had a few minor roles in various movies. She did, however, appear in the E! reality series “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” in 2012 and graduated from college in May 2018.

Although she hasn’t spent quite as much time in the spotlight as the other members of her family, Morgan has made sure to keep her presence known and has a lively Instagram account full of fun photos of her adventures with her family and friends.

Laurie Murray

Born in 1954, Laurie remained unknown to Eastwood for many years of her life, as he had an affair with an unnamed woman in Seattle during his marriage to Johnson. Unbeknownst to Eastwood, the woman became pregnant and put the baby up for adoption after giving birth. The baby went on to be given the name Laurie by her adoptive parents.

After many decades of curiosity and wonder, Laurie began to look deeper into her family history and adoption records around the time she was 30 years old. Laurie had grown increasingly curious about her biological parents and set out to find answers, according to Outsider. This was when she discovered that Eastwood was in fact her father. Luckily, she went on to meet the celebrity, and the two were able to form a great bond with one another. Laurie also got close to the rest of the family, including Eastwood’s other seven known children.

Laurie has been a part of her father’s life since their reconnection, and even attended the Academy Awards in 2004 alongside Eastwood and was pictured arm-in-arm with his mother, Ruth Wood, on the red carpet. She was also, of course, present for the most iconic family photo of the bunch from when they all got together to attend the premiere of “The Mule” in 2018. The large Eastwood clan and the star’s longtime girlfriend, Christina Sandera, were all present. The entire family showed up together and stood side by side as a completed unit.

Just like their father, the entire Eastwood clan has ventured into the entertainment industry. From acting to singing to modeling, it seems like there is nothing that this famous family cannot achieve. Although many of Eastwood’s children are only half-siblings, they certainly appear as a very tight-knit group and often post photos with each other and support one another on social media. With such a large family, they have definitely discovered the importance of keeping your family close and showcasing their love and affection for one another.
