Cat Crashes Orchestra
Jul 07, 2020
A stray cat stole the show at a live orchestral concert recently in Istanbul, Turkey, when it wandered onto the stage.
Crying babies, talkers, and unsilenced phones are typical disruptions at any kind of sit-down show. But cats? This cute calico feline had wandered into Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall and ended up on stage, completely oblivious to the fact that a classical performance was about to begin.

The unlikely guest’s appearance didn’t seem to bother the musicians of the CRR Symphony Orchestra nor the audience, though. They were amused more than anything by her inquisitive and casual 'catwalking' (literally) on stage. In the video, a cellist is seen bending over from her chair to pet the cat, while one of the violinists attempts to carry the four-legged cutie, presumably to escort her off the stage.
The conductor even turns to the audience and jokingly asks: "Is anyone allergic to cats?" But just before he could finish his sentence, the playful animal springs up onto the podium and starts inspecting the conductor’s platform, which induces laughter from everyone in the hall.
Eventually, the orchestra starts playing and the kitty is seen comfortably positioned right at the front of the stage. She stares at the faces of the crowd, probably thinking about how mesmerized the entire audience is by her.
If all concert disruptions were this cute, nobody would mind! Pass this along to your friends and family, especially all the cat-lovers in your life.
