Caitlyn VanBeck appeared on the famous TV show, The X Factor before Simon Cowell and the world watching. This situation would be difficult for anyone but she was determined to not let it affect her.

To make matters worse, she decided to sing Simon's favorite song of all time. Coming from a background of being bullied all through her young years, she was attempting a lot as she put herself out there for the possibility of more public ridicule.

But what happens during the video is quite the opposite. Once the music began and she opened her mouth, she belted a powerful and lovely sound that stunned the crowd and the panel of judges.

She received a standing ovation, seemingly not only for her incredible talent but also for her courage in the face of adversity. The other judges gave her only positive praise. And last, the usualy harsh and emotionless judge, Cowell, was left without a word to say- he thought she was brilliant. The moment is pure joy!
