The song talks about the Christmas season and how it's just not the same unless you're celebrating with your mother. Although he enjoyed singing the song for the audience, it was a special moment because he was with his mother on the stage.
Other singers who performed Christmas songs that night include Reba, Kelly Clarkson, and Larry the Cable Guy. Blake was thrilled to spend time with his family that evening and enjoyed being able to spread a little Christmas cheer to those who might not have their mother to celebrate the holidays with.
His mother soon adapted the song to a novel that she wrote soon after it was released.
Listen to the beautiful words that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit this year and for others to come.
