Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Captures Hearts After Attending Zoo ‘Staff Meeting’ In Adorable Video

Bindi Irwin’s romance with Chandler Powell has captivated fans of the Irwin family since July 2019, when the two announced their engagement in 2019. From what fans have heard of the couple, it often seems like they are a match made in heaven. 

Take the couple’s wedding as an example. Although the global pandemic forced Bindi and Chandler to change some of their arrangements, they still managed to have what seemed like a magical wedding in the gardens of the Australia Zoo in Queensland on March 25, 2020. Their ceremony even included a koala — not to mention a beautiful floral arrangement.

The then-22-year-old Bindi gave birth to her first child, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, on March 25, 2021, which she and Chandler announced to the world on social media. The couple’s announcement soon went viral as Irwin fans from around the world heard the news. As if the birth of the animal-loving couple’s first baby wasn’t special enough, Bindi and Chandler revealed that Grace was also born on their first wedding anniversary.

Since that special day, both Bindi and her husband have been keeping fans up to date via social media, posting photos and videos with the newborn regularly.

In 2023, Grace proved that she’s following in the footsteps of her famous family when it comes to loving wildlife as she called for a “staff meeting” and gave updates about their animals.

In August 2023, Bindi Irwin took to her official Instagram account to share an adorable short vlog of Grace Powell asking her mom if they could do a staff meeting at the Australia Zoo.

In the compilation of videos, Bindi began by telling her followers that everyone at the zoo was excited because her daughter personally requested to visit the premises and call all the crew for a meeting.

Bindi also shared a joke with her followers as she noted that Grace is the one in charge of the zoo and “makes all the big decisions.”

The sweet young girl began the “staff meeting” at the Crocoseum by greeting a few people with a cute little “hi,” before expressing her gratitude with her sweet voice as she said, “Thank you for your hard work.”

“These school holidays were crazy busy and you guys handled things so effortlessly. So thank you,” Bindi told the employees.

Later in the clip, Grace chimed in and wanted to share a short update as she said, “and koalas,” to which her mom agreed, “and koalas are great too.”

In the caption, Bindi wrote, “Grace requested to come to our #AustraliaZoo staff meeting with us and gave a fabulous update on koalas… I love getting to share life with Grace and I feel so lucky to be her mama.”

In the comment section, one fan pointed out that Grace exuded the same energy as her mother when she was a kid, as she said in a previous interview, “No one else can go in here, do you know why? ‘Cause it’s my zoo and I’m gonna run it someday.”

In the comment section, fans of Bindi as well as her daughter shared positive comments about the video, and some of them even pointed out the TV personality’s similarities with her daughter.

Fans pointed out how good of a role model Bindi is for her daughter, and she actually shared a few parenting tips in an interview with People Magazine in 2022.

Before she gave birth, Bindi said she had a lot of plans regarding her sleeping schedule and what to feed her baby, but everything changed the moment she was born.

“I think every parent should know it's okay if you don't do things exactly by the book. You have to find your own rhythm,” she said.

Regarding her and her husband Chandler Powell’s first year of being a parent at the time, he told the outlet that there were a lot of opinions and advice that they felt pressured to follow; although they were great, the best way to raise their child was to follow their own instincts as they “know better than anyone what's best for your baby."
