Jun 28, 2019
Mike Rowe is a television celebrity who isn't afraid to tackle anything. He is the host of the Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs" after all. But when Rowe shows up on stage where a barbershop quartet is performing, the audience is taken by surprise and doesn't know what to expect. He's dressed casually as if he were there to check the pipes. Nobody knew what kind of pipes he had!
A Quartet Of Talent
The Barbershop Quartet called Forefront was performing the song "Sweet and Lovely" for an appreciative audience in Las Vegas. People on and off stage started reacting with excitement as Mike Rowe appeared and made his way up towards the group. Was this a joke? Was he there to discuss the hard work ethic he is known for?

Mike Rowe Wows Us All
It turned out, Mike Rowe was there to perform with the quartet. He politely excused the bass singer who strolled to the side of the stage. Then, without missing a beat, Mike Rowe opened his mouth and sang. He kept perfect harmony with the other performers. Who knew Mike Rowe had a rich and velvety singing voice. He had the training to hold his own onstage with experienced barbershop performers.
The Reaction
The audience was surprised and confused at first. Their reaction turned into delight and appreciation at the surprise their entertainment had provided. Not many people attending a Las Vegas show get to witness a surprise guest! Let's be glad that nobody thought this should "stay in Vegas."
