At 77, Goldie Hawn Delights Fans With ‘Sublime’ Bathing Suit Snap

Goldie Hawn is a beaming ray of sunshine in Hollywood and has been for many years. The 77-year-old actress has graced our screens since the late 1960s when she impressed audiences by receiving the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for "Cactus Flower." Since then, she appeared in many beloved movies and programs throughout the decades, and to this day, she continues to work.

Meanwhile, off-screen, her enduring nearly four-decade-long relationship with Kurt Russell, 72, has warmed our hearts. Their adorable and loving relationship is the sweetest, with the obvious affection they have for each other more akin to a group of teenage sweethearts than a couple that's been together for 40 years! 

While the couple continued working prolifically in Hollywood after they got together, they also placed much importance on family. Their blended family consists of children they each brought to their union from their previous marriages and one son they had together. Three of their four children followed their famous parents into acting — Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson, whom Hawn had with her ex-husband Bill Hudson, and Wyatt Russell, the couple's own biological child. Moreover, most of their children have since had their own kids, which has added to the powerful family dynamic that the couple has cultivated.

Hawn has always been known for her stunning good looks, and she has continued showing just how beautiful she is inside and out every day. While Hawn was an absolute knockout during her heyday, the star is still incredibly gorgeous today and is unafraid to flaunt her good looks, even in her 70s.

Hawn is a woman who needs no introduction. Born on Nov. 21, 1945, in Washington, D.C., the future actress had one sister growing up and was raised Jewish. She began taking dance lessons from the age of 3 and even appeared in a few stage productions as a child. 

By the time she was 19, she ran and taught at a ballet school after dropping out of studying drama at university. She worked as a professional dancer before moving to Los Angeles in 1966, where she worked as a dancer and played minor roles on television. Her dance background clearly helped her establish a strong presence when performing, which worked to her advantage in her career.

After moving to Los Angeles, Hawn didn't go unnoticed for long, and soon she was seen as an "It" girl of the 1960s. After working in television for a few years, she switched to movies, with one of her first roles in the 1969 film "Cactus Flower," which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. This win set her career in motion; by her mid-20s, Hawn had already begun to make her name in Hollywood.

Over the next few decades, her filmography would grow to include all kinds of films, but her specialty was in comedy. She was nominated one more time for an Oscar in 1981 for "Private Benjamin" but did not win it. Other well-known roles of hers include "Shampoo," "Overboard," "Bird on a Wire," "Death Becomes Her," "The First Wives Club," "The Out-of-Towners," "The Banger Sisters" and many more. 

After many years in Hollywood, Hawn is still a prominent figure. These days, aside from being a mother and movie star, fans often keep up with her via her social media pages. The beloved actress has over 3.6 million fans and followers on her popular Instagram page. She posts lifestyle, love, work and more on her fun page.

In fact, Hawn is no stranger to sharing moments of her life that get people talking — in a good way!

Back in June 2021, she shared a video of her dancing around in her bathing suit and the crowd went wild. The video has nearly two million views and endless comments. Instagram users said things like:

“Goldie being, well, Goldie!! Bless her heart!!” Another kind fan wrote: “Go Goldie GO! Never change — love your happy self, you make everyone smile!!😊”

People couldn’t help but notice how beautiful Hawn still is, even in her late 70s. “Still beautiful!” one person wrote on the popular video. Another commented: “Beautiful Goldie! Love your spirit. You go girl!!”

Hawn has admitted that she couldn’t be happier with what her life has brought her. In an interview with Forbes she said:

"I could say that the movies that I've done, first of all, it's the most fun thing ever and working and acting is the gift of a lifetime and if you can do it, don't complain. Bow down, say I am so lucky — a dream come true. Along with being grateful for having the greatest ability to make people laugh, by the way."

The star also loves to thrill her fans with inside glimpses into life with her family of equally famous actors. On her son Oliver’s birthday in September 2022, she posted a sweet birthday message and adorable mother-son photo. The caption read:

“Happy birthday my handsome wild and crazy son @theoliverhudson! Deeply love you❤️ 🎉☀️”

She did much the same to her followers’ delight when it was daughter Kate’s birthday in April 2023. Alongside a gorgeous photo of the two of them posing cheek-to-cheek, Hawn wrote: 

“Happy birthday my sweetheart, my angel and my only precious girl @katehudson!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Mama loves ya to the moon and back!”

Kate, a star in her own right who made her own name in films such as “Almost Famous,” “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” and “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” responded with, “Love you mama ❤️” 

She also showed just how young at heart she and Russell still are with a playful video in which they played with hand puppets to entertain a young child at a restaurant. “Working on our communication skills 🎭” she captioned the hilarious clip.

It’s clear Hawn and Russell still adore each other after all these years, and in June 2023, they flew off for a romantic vacation in Greece. When they wrapped up their getaway, Hawn marked the occasion on June 23 by sharing a gorgeous photo of herself in the water, silhouetted by the orange glow of a fading sunset. 

“Last day in Skiathos this year. Bye bye paradise 🏖️” she wrote in the caption. Hawn’s friend, Ali Wentworth, commented, “Oh Goldie what a stunning photo! ❤️” as others praised the star.

“Goddess of the Sunset 🌅 🙏👩🏼” one fan wrote, while another said, “Sublime in every which way!”
