Angelina Jolie has continued to move higher on the stardom ladder when it comes to her career in the movie industry. Aside from being a well-known filmmaker, actress, and humanitarian, she is also an admirable mother to her six children, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. Jolie has always cherished motherhood and is taking it to a whole new level.

The A-list star has always been very proud of her large and multicultural family and has shown that over the years. The captivating family has been in the public eye with various images of their red-carpet appearances. The family once again made the news headlines on Aug. 15, 2023, as Jolie teamed up with one of her twins, Vivienne Marcheline, who she named as her assistant for her new project.

Jolie started her journey to motherhood in 2002 when she adopted her first child, Maddox Chivan. In 2005, she decided to expand her family by adopting Zahara Marley. After making their relationship official, Jolie and Pitt welcomed their first child together, Shiloh Nouvel, in 2006. The duo later added to their family by adopting Pax Thien before completing their family with the birth of twins Knox Lèon and Vivienne Marcheline in 2008.

Over the years, Jolie and Pitt have often commented on their large family. They do not hesitate to share their love for their children in interviews. Jolie once told People that how she's raising her children has positively impacted her relationship with her kids. She said:

"They're great people and because there's so many of them, I think they've had a very significant effect on each other. It's not like I'm the head of anything. I'm very honest with my kids. And I'm very humble with my kids."

Apart from thriving in motherhood, Jolie's career has been illuminating. She has starred in various movies since her career began in 1993. Jolie is well known for her intriguing acting skills and has received the title of Hollywood's highest-paid actress several times.

Jolie does not only rule the acting world but is also making it in production. The Oscar-winning actress was announced on Aug. 9, 2023, as the lead producer of a Broadway musical adaptation of "The Outsiders." According to Deadline, the musical is based on S. E. Hinton's 1967 novel and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film adaptation.

Jolie will be working with The Araca Group, Olympus Theatricals, Sue Gilad & Larry Rogowsky, and American Zoetrope as a producing team. She announced her excitement about being a part of the production team and sharing the special experience with the world. She explained in a statement:

"I studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute where I realised my first love, as a performer, was the theatre. I had not found a way back until now. I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse."

Jolie is not the only one excited about being in production. She will work alongside other producing teams who seem thrilled to work with her. Matthew Rego from The Araca Group shares his excitement about Jolie being the lead producer of "The Outsiders." He gushed over her remarkable and thrilling career in a statement. He added:

The award-winning actress will not be the only one from her family working on the production. It has been confirmed that Jolie hired her teenage 15-year-old daughter to be her assistant for the upcoming musical adaptation. According to Page Six, the proud mom shared that her daughter, Vivienne, served as an inspiration for her on the project. Jolie also shared a reference to her actress and producer mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007. She explained:

"Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn't focused on being the centre of attention but in being a support to other creatives." Jolie added, "She's very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute."

According to E! News, a source close to the actress shared that Vivienne fell in love with S.E. Hinton's novel musical adaptation. Earlier in 2023, Vivienne accompanied her mother to the "The Outsiders" premiere at La Jolla Playhouse. Another source close to the mother-of-six said Jolie wants the musical team to listen to and work with young people. The source added that Jolie believes this production is a musical for all ages and specifically "resonates with young people."

Jolie seems to be promoting her daughter's love for art with this latest employment as her assistant. The actress once shared with People that a parent has to help their children figure out who they are. She also revealed that developing with them is the only way to do this. Pitt also shared at the 2022 Oscars in a press room that he wants their children to follow their passion. Vivienne is enthusiastically following her passion and love for the Broadway-bound musical adaptation as she works side by side with her mother.
