Adele is one of the greatest singers of all time. Since her launch into stardom, the award-winning vocalist has toppled music charts worldwide and broken records. Adele has been topping the charts since her popular song "Chasing Pavements" hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2009. In November 2021, Adele released her successful album, "30," her fourth studio album. The album, unlike her previous works, took a bit longer to release, and this was because she was occupied with personal events going on in her life. In the years leading to the album’s release, the "Hello" singer shifted her focus from music to family and health. The singer decided to take a giant leap forward regarding her health and lost almost 100 pounds. Ushering her into a new and more confident self was her previous era, which came in the form of her 2021 album, "30."

As part of her unending love for her fans, Adele embarked on her Las Vegas Residency titled "Weekends With Adele." On one of those weekends, she revealed that she struggled with a fungal infection due to excessive sweating. Despite her struggles with the fungal infection, the vocalist's skin still had an undeniable glow. Adele has been sharing make-up-free photos with her teeming fans on Instagram. British singer Adele became an international superstar for her singing and songwriting. Born on May 5, 1988, with the full name of Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, the musical sensation grew up in the Tottenham district of London with her mother, Penny Adkins. Adkins raised Adele as a single mother, as Adele's father, Marc Evans, left the family when she was three.

Music was inborn for the award-winning vocalist; she started singing when she was three years old and nurtured her talent into a successful musical career. During her youth, she spent ample time playing the guitar and singing to friends in Brockwell Park, an experience she fondly referenced in her 2015 song "Million Years Ago."

"I never realized that this was going to happen. I never, ever realized when I had my guitar in the park, singing to my friends … we never in a million years thought this would ever happen," she said during her BBC Special performance.

After moving back and forth with her mother, Adele attended a performing arts school, the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon, and graduated in May 2006. Unsurprisingly, she rose to stardom, as she was classmates with other famous vocalists like Leona Lewis and Jessie J. A few months after graduation, Adele started to record her own music and never looked back.

With several accolades and many feathers in her cap, it is evident that Adele's musical career has been successful. The singer has attributed that success to the nurturing she received as a student at the BRIT school. 

Adele isn't a regular on social media, but the vocalist shared two pictures in celebration of her 34th birthday in 2022. The post featured two portraits captured by photographer Raven B. Varona. In both photos, Adele posed makeup-free in a black mini dress with exaggerated sleeves by Carolina Herrera. However, the second photo featured an up-close look at the singer's face; she was makeup free, wore her hair in her natural waves, and accessorized her look with her signature gold hoop earrings.

"What a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can't wait to be 60! I've never been happier! So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34, and I love it here!Thank you for the birthday love as always x," Adele wrote in the post’s caption.

Adele's 34th birthday post came after an almost two-month hiatus from Instagram following the cancellation of her Las Vegas residency due to delivery delays and COVID-19. Her fans were thrilled to see her looking gorgeous as she marked another year.
