Adele Reveals The Self-Help Book That Turned Her Life Around

In a recent Instagram post, singer Adele gushed over a self-help book by guru Glennon Doyle which has helped her change her life for the better over these past months.

Over the weekend the 32-year-old singer revealed how Glennon Doyle's Untamed: Stop Pleasing, Start Living has recently impacted her life. She shared a picture of the self-help book’s cover on her Instagram and wrote: 

“I never knew that I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom!! Who knew our own liberation liberates those around us? Cause I didn’t!! I thought we were meant to be stressed and disheveled, confused and selfless like a Disney character! ProBloodyFound!! You’re an absolute don Glennon.”

Adele also made sure to recommend the book to her fans as reading it might help someone the way it helped her.

“If you’re ready - this book will shake your brain and make your soul scream. I am so ready for myself after reading this book! It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time. Whew! Anyone who has any kind of capacity to truly let go and give into yourself with any kind of desire to hold on for dear life - Do it. Read it. Live it. Practice it,” the singer-songwriter wrote. “We are a lot! But we are meant to be a lot! .. “A good life is a hard life!” Read this book and have a highlighter on hand to make notes because you’ll want to refer back to it trust me!“

As it turns out Adele is not the only one who was amazed by Glennon Doyle's book. Untamed: Stop Pleasing, Start Living has received phenomenal reviews and has been on the Amazon top charts for over 22 weeks now – and probably will stay there for a while after Adele gushed about it on her Instagram. Other celebrities also shared their adoration for this book online. Actress Reese Witherspoon stated on her Instagram

This memoir is so packed with incredible insight about what it means to be a woman today , what did we learn as young girls about how to behave or believe, and why we need to free ourselves from a lot of these ideas that don’t work anymore.
