Adam Sandler’s Wife Jackie Poked Fun At Her Husband For Being ‘Good’ In Bed Whether He Was ‘Awake Or Not’

Apr 12, 2023

Adam Sandler is known for being a pretty funny guy and has starred in many comedies to prove just how hilarious he truly is. From a young age, Adam showed an interest in comedy. He began performing stand-up comedy in his teens and attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

The actor has made a successful career for himself, finding his footing as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1990 until 1995 before going on to star in a plethora of box office hits. Some of his most notable movies include "Billy Madison," "Happy Gilmore," "The Wedding Singer" and "Big Daddy."

His wit, comedic timing and ability to be an adorable goofball have made him a standout in the comedy world. While Adam is mostly known for his sense of humor, he has also shown a more romantic side in his films, starring alongside several beautiful and talented actresses, including Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek and Drew Barrymore.

However, his off-screen romance is by far the most beautiful one Adam has shown the world, as he has been married to his wife for nearly two decades and has known her for even longer.

Adam is married to his longtime partner Jacqueline Titone – now known as Jackie Adam. Jackie first got her start in the entertainment industry through modeling both nationally and internationally before going on to appear in a handful of films, including many alongside her now-husband.

The two love to tease each other in private and in public. When Adam was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on March 19, 2023, Jackie was present and even took the stage to say a few words to her husband – which sent the whole venue laughing. Adam has also maintained an amazing relationship with his wife of 19 years, Jackie. She was introduced to the acting industry by Rob Schneider and appeared in the 1999 film “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.” Schneider was impressed with Jackie’s work and put in a good word for her to his friend, Adam, and the rest is history.

Adam and Jackie first met while working as co-stars on the 1999 film “Big Daddy.” Their courtship was brief – from their introduction in the late 1990s to tying the knot just a few years later in 2003. Parade reported that Aniston and Schneider were among the 400 wedding guests. Along with getting a beautiful wife, Adam also got an amazing business partner, as Jackie has since teamed up with the comedian on several productions, including “Murdery Mystery,” “Grown Ups,” “Just Go With It” and “50 First Dates.”

Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres in 2019, Adam said: “We do this together, me and Jackie. Movies, you know, we discuss what I’m gonna do. And she gives me, you know, strength and courage to jump into this stuff.” According to Parade, Jackie was actually the one who encouraged Adam to take the role in “Uncut Gems,” one of his most critically acclaimed films to date.

However, it’s clear that Adam has no issue being romantic with his real wife, as he has shared some beautiful, sentimental words about her over the years. Back in 2020, Adam commemorated the 22nd anniversary of the day he met his now-wife. According to Parade, he wrote, “22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl.”

Despite having many leading ladies in his films, Adam has maintained a romantic link with Jackie. Adam revealed to Parade their secret to staying together for so many years:

“Just getting time together. Making sure that you don’t run off too long and hanging out together and telling the truth and that kind of thing’s good.”

As much as she can, Jackie is always present whenever Adam is, and she has always given her husband affirmations to remind him of how great of a husband he is.

On March 19, 2023, Adam received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, an American award presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts annually since 1998, named after the 19th-century humorist Mark Twain

Jackie took the stage after Adam's mother, Judy, joked about how her son dresses like a “slob,” referring to Adam's unique fashion sense at movie premieres. When it was her turn, Jackie emotionally recalled their beginnings together, which she said was “love at first sight.”

“I would like to celebrate the real Adam – The Pepto Bismol-chugging … air conditioning-blasting … backyard-peeing … disrupter,” she said as quoted by The Washington Post. “And, yes, he’s just as funny in real life as he is in the movies."

And when everyone thought that they would get a tearful tribute for Adam, Jackie unleashed the comedienne in her and sent the whole room laughing:

“And he’s just as good in bed as you’ve all imagined for so long. Adam, whether you’re awake or not, it’s always fantastic.”

Adam follows a long list of comedians who received the same Mark Twain Prize, like Jon Stewart, Dave Chappelle, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Letterman, Bill Murray, Jay Leno and Carol Burnett, among many others.
