Actress Angelina Jolie Turned Up To Red Carpet Event With Her Rumored New Man

Angelina Jolie raises eyebrows as she walks the red carpet in matching outfits with her rumored new beau.

Fourteen years after the revelation of Brangelina stunned the world, it seems Angelina Jolie is finally moving on. The “Tomb Raider” actress is rumored to be in a relationship with Akala, a British rapper, musician and activist. Jolie, 49, and the rapper, 40, fueled dating rumors after he accompanied her on the red carpet at the premiere of her new film “Maria,” in London. The duo stepped out in style for the BFI London Film Festival on Oct. 18, where they turned heads in a matching ensemble. 

The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actress looked effortlessly chic in a black three-piece suit with a button-down vest from the Dolce & Gabbana men’s collection. She polished off the look with sleek teardrop gold earrings and black boots. Her rumored beau spotted a similar look, strutting the red carpet in a navy-blue suit which was complemented by a scarf and a classy dark turtleneck. He added a casual touch to the look with black sneakers and tied his dreadlocks back. 

Their joint appearance at the red carpet comes in the wake of their rumored hotel rendezvous where she reportedly snuck him into her hotel room and amid reports that he has already met her children. The actress has six children with actor Brad Pitt. A source claims that Angelina has spent most of her time in London with Akala, revealing:

“Angelina arrived at the hotel via the loading bay at around 8pm on Wednesday before being joined by Akala at around 10pm…The pair spent Wednesday and Thursday night together inside the hotel and did not leave.”

Jolie is an A-list actress, so it wasn’t long before netizens rushed to express their views on her new rumored romance. The initial assumption was that while there is a link between Jolie and Akala, it might not be a romantic relationship and is more likely a business one. Many comparisons to Jolie’s most famous ex, Brad Pitt, were also made, with one user commenting:

“He is definitely no Brad Pitt alright…”  

There were more comments about her past relationship, with one social media user taking Pitt’s side and proclaiming:

“Thank goodness Brad got away!!! I feel bad for her children!!! She’s using them and filling their heads with hate for their Dad!!!”

Many reactions to this possible new pairing seemed scathing to the actress, with some implying that the British rapper and activist is her “next victim.” However, the actress still has some loyal fans, and they came to her defense by supporting her in the comment section. One expressed happiness for her new reported relationship, writing:

“Good for her the man is handsome! 👍🏾” 

Another fan positively commented that Jolie and her rumored new beau look strikingly good together. 

Prior to their London outing, the pair were spotted in New York and Italy. Earlier this month, Page Six reported that the actress had been spotted with the musician “twice in less than a week.” Akala seems to be a supportive potential partner to Jolie, having also attended her Atelier Jolie showroom event at the end of September. He was captured looking intently in the direction of the actress. 

However, after their appearance in Italy, their dating rumors were debunked by a source who claimed that Akala has a partner named Chanell Newman, with whom Jolie is close. The actress has previously said she is committed to rebuilding her life. Whatever her relationship with Akala is, we wish her well.
