Being able to drive at age 96 is an incredible achievement. Maintaining the skills to travel around in a cars safely isn't easy for the elderly. For a man known as a "Mr. Lee," driving isn't a hassle at all. Changing flat tires, however, is outside of his skillset. At an advanced age, performing the physical task of changing a tire is too much. Thankfully, Mr. Lee found someone willing to help him out.

Mr. Lee, a World War II veteran, regularly purchases food from a Severn, Maryland Chick-Fil-A. The employees at the restaurant remembered him from his frequent visits, but they noticed something was wrong this time. Daryl Howard, the manager at the Chick-Fil-A, asked him what was wrong. It turns out one of Mr. Lee's tires went flat. He was lucky enough to get his vehicle to the Chick-Fil-A parking lot. And he was lucky since Daryl did something extra that few restaurant managers would do. Once Daryl discovered Mr. Lee was struggling with a flat tire, he offered to fix it.

And fix it he did. Daryl showed his experience with cars by changing the tire for Mr. Lee in about 15 minutes. The beautiful gesture won't be forgotten, either. Another employee took photos of the tire changing on her phone. The story and the images found their way to the media. Now, scores of people know about the story of Daryl, Mr. Lee, and the fixed flat.
