9 Signs It Might Be Better To End Your Relationship
Jul 23, 2018
Are you wondering if it's time to say goodbye to your relationship? You can find the answer within this list of nine indicators, and it will be clear as day.
Love is a wonderful thing. It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If it's really good love, it can sometimes blind us so much that we can't see when it's over. Every relationship has good points and bad points. Everybody fights from time to time. However, these nine indicators are sure-fire signs that you need to get out of your relationship immediately.

1. The Bad Times Outweigh The Good

As previously mentioned, all relationships have ups and downs. However, when you spend more time fighting with your partner then you do having a good time, it's time to reevaluate the relationship. You should be able to get along at least 60 percent of the time. A 50 percent argument rate is not good, and anything above that means it's time to go.
2. You Feel Like You're Living With An Alien

It might be time to depart from your relationship if your mate seems like he or she just stepped off the Martian mothership. It often takes time for a person to become comfortable enough to be himself or herself in a relationship. You may notice that your partner seems like a person that you don't like now that you've been together for a while. Maybe that person is his or her true self now, and maybe it's time to go.
3. The Trust Is Gone

If the trust seems like it's gone, you might want to pack your bags and leave with it. Trust is one of the most important elements of a successful relationship. It is difficult to get that trust back when it's been broken. That's not to say that you can't work it out, but both of you will have to be willing to put forth the effort.
4. Less Contact

Couples who are in love enjoy communicating with each other as much as possible. If it seems like your partner is never around when you want to talk, or he seems generally uninterested, there may be a serious issue. Not all communication drops equate to doomsday for the relationship. However, they may indicate that someone's interest has shifted.
5. Lack Of Intimacy

A healthy relationship includes a healthy amount of intimacy. Intimacy can refer to physical relations or just the general closeness that two people have when they care about each other. If those elements are gone, and you find that your spouse is cold and unaffectionate, it might be that your relationship is petering out. You'll need to have a talk with that person and find out what's going on.
6. One-Sided Relationship

If your relationship is one-sided, then your side might need to go. Relationships should be at least 50/50 where both partners are giving and taking things like attention, encouragement, appreciation and so forth. Not all relationships are equal. You don't have to stay in a one-sided relationship just to be with someone. If it's one-sided, you're not really with anybody anyway. It's okay to walk away from something like that and spend some quality time with yourself.
7. Incessant Nagging Tirades

If all your partner does is complain, that person is not happy. If you receive incessant nagging every time you walk in the door, it may be time to move on. Have a talk with your partner first to see if there's anything you can do about it.
8. Relationship Feels Burdensome

All relationships get a little bit stale after a while, but it is not normal to constantly feel that yours is a burden. Consider it a sign that you need to part ways if you hate going home, and you can't smile when you think about your relationship.
9. You Think Of Other people

Finally, if you find yourself fantasizing about other people all the time, then your body and your mind are trying to tell you something. It's probably time to get packing.
Life's too short to stay in an unhappy relationship. Be sure to let your friends know about this list so that they can do a quick assessment of their relationships.
