Kate Middleton is best known as the Duchess of Cambridge, the wife of Prince William; the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and an global fashion icon.

Taken in 1985, three-year-old Kate is seen here climbing a rock wall during a family vacation in England's lake district.

This is Kate in 1986 with little sister Pippa and father Michael in Jerash, Jordan, where the family lived for two and a half years.

Prince William recently recreated this photo during a trip to the country in the middle east.

Also in 2005, she was seen in low-rise jeans at the Spirit Of Christmas Shopping Festival.

Attending a store opening party in London in 2006, Kate exudes a rebellious vibe with her tousled hair and low-cut dress.
