Many people love sitting with their feet on the dashboard. It's often seen in movies. However, this is a very dangerous position. In the event of a car accident, the results would be disastrous.

But this position is dangerous with just a simple braking. Your face could easily hit your knees, breaking your jaw.

There would be a long and difficult discovery. Instead, sit back and relax with your feet on the floor.

8. Hanging Wet Towels on Hooks and Bunching Shower Curtains to One Side

When many people get out of the shower, it is an instinct to pull the shower curtain aside and hang up your towel on the hook.

However, this can cause bacteria to build up in the folds of the towel and curtain.

It is better to let your towel dry unfolded and to pull your shower curtain closed again when you are done.

7. Drinking Coffee on an Empty Stomach

Coffee first! This is what many people do in the morning. Upon waking, they immediately go for the coffee pot.

However, coffee on an empty stomach can have its negative effects such as heartburn and problems with digestion. It causes a release of too much gastric acid. Instead, drink coffee after you eat something or even wait until later in the day.

6. Eating Popcorn

Everyone loves having popcorn when you go to a movie theater. However, it is a horrible habit. Popcorn is bad for your teeth. It gets stuck and when it gets stuck, it is very hard to get out. Popcorn is usually covered in butter which is loaded with fat.

Instead, try going to the movies and skipping the popcorn. Once the movie starts, you will be surprised at how little you miss it!

5. Leaving Water Bottles in the Car

Many car owners keep water bottles in the car. Maybe even more than one. Whether you just forgot it there, you are trying to drink more water, or it's just for emergencies, it is, in fact, a very dangerous habit to have. When the sun is shining, the water bottle is like a lens.

It could actually start a fire.

While this is a small possibility, it is still possible. Just in case, start taking your water bottle with you instead of leaving it in the car.

4. Popping Pimples

Breakouts can be annoying. That pesky pimple is shining bright on your face and you want nothing more than to pop it. However, this can actually make the problem worse. When you pop a pimple, you damage the walls of the pore. Bacteria will actually spread and cause more breakouts around the first one.

You are also risking an infection if you pop a pimple with dirty hands. Instead, try applying a topical ointment and let the pimple run its course.

3. Taking Lots of Photos on Your Phone

Today, most people are on their phones for a good part of the day, especially taking pictures. However, it is not always the best thing to do. When you try to capture every moment of your life, you tend to miss important memories and details in your life.

When you go to take a picture, you focus on how good the picture is.

But you aren’t paying attention to what you are actually taking a picture of. You miss out on important parts of your life by focusing too much on taking pictures.

2. Taking Vitamins That Have Biologically Active Additives

Many people believe that taking a bunch of vitamins will make you healthy. However, this is not the case. You shouldn’t need to take additional vitamins on top of what you get in your diet.

You could actually develop a vitamin deficiency. You should only add them to your diet if you absolutely need them. But try to get them through your food if possible.

1. Charging Your Phone Under Your Pillow

Many people want to keep their phone close, even when they sleep. You may put it on the nightstand or even under your pillow. However, when phones are charging, the battery can heat up.

While this isn’t as likely in newer phone models, many phones still have this defect. When the phone heats up while under the pillow, it could start a fire very close to your head. You could get severely hurt.

Instead of tucking it under your pillow, charge your phone on a desk, table, or nightstand. It is much safer for you and your home.
