72-Year-Old Woman Says She's In Best Shape Now — And We Can't Wait To Hear Her Out

While some people are blessed with fantastic genes, not everyone is lucky enough to age like fine wine. It can take some real effort and hard work to consistently stay looking so youthful and stay in shape for so many years of your life. For Norma Williams, she has found that proper diet, exercise and a healthy outlook on life have been the key to holding onto her youthful appearance and mindset. At 72 years old, Williams looks and feels better than she ever has.

The British woman has been living in Umbria, Italy since 1980 and runs a holiday rental business. Along with her beautiful and free lifestyle, Williams has time and time again shown off her unwavering self-confidence and commitment to being the best version of herself. Resembling a model, she accentuates her tall and fit physique with an extremely fashionable sense of style and chic outfits. Williams has kept an emphasis on doing what she can to both look and feel good in her skin.

With such an amazing figure and fashion style, many people have become intrigued with Williams and her ability to stay so fit and youthful regardless of her age. It’s not every day that you come across someone who has lived so much of their life already and still appears to be in their prime. For Williams, she has found a way to be in the best shape of her life in her early 70s as she continues to navigate and follow a healthy lifestyle while encouraging others to do the same.

Staying in shape is not always an easy feat, but Williams has seemed to master it. According to The Daily Mail, she exercises seven days a week and participates in 50-minute personal training sessions twice a week. Even though Williams pays close attention to her weight and eats a relatively healthy diet, she has not dismissed her love and joy for some of her favorite foods. In fact, the 72-year-old woman has been known to enjoy a pastry for breakfast and even drinks red wine every night, as per The Daily Mail.

On her Instagram, Williams has not been shy about showing off just how incredible she looks. She has described herself as a “health and fitness maniac” and “fashion freak,” as per her Instagram bio. Encouraging others to keep up with a healthy regime even in old age, Williams relayed the message, “The longer you live, the greater your beauty potential,” in her Instagram bio.

For Williams, looking good does not mean resembling a supermodel, rather being “toned from top to toe,” according to The Daily Mail. She first began exercising daily when she was in her 20s, but she has continued to change up her routine over the years to keep her workouts fun, interesting and helpful.

“Because, while I am 70+, and I am aware that I’m a person who’s older than most, my mind and body still occupy young space,” Williams wrote on Quora. “Possibly because I have never embraced the concept of old age.” Holding tightly to her youthful mindset and sticking to a better diet and exercise regimen has truly helped Williams continue to look absolutely amazing and inspire others to follow in her footsteps.
