It has been 12 years since renowned wildlife warrior, and star of the show Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin tragically lost his life.

Steve Irwin was made famous by both staring as a reality tv personality and his international animal conservation work.

He was 44 when he died in a stingray incident. Since his death, his family has continued his legacy of animal preservation.

A new show on Animal Planet, Crikey! It’s the Irwins, is set to premiere in late October and follow the family’s life and conservation efforts.

The show is set to follow Terri, Bindi, and Robert Irwin. Bindi, 20, is excited to carry out her dad’s legacy and follow in his footsteps. Mom Terri, 54, is enthusiastic that the family works, lives, and loves animals together. Their home at the Australia Zoo allows them to work towards animal conservation and share it with Animal Planet audiences around the world.

The show will also include guest appearances from Bindi’s boyfriend who also works at the Zoo.

Cameras will capture the family and the Australia Zoo as they take care of more than 1,200 animals. The show will also feature the world-class wildlife hospital. Animals housed at the zoo include mammals, birds, and reptiles.

The zoo’s webpage includes a special section dedicated to Steve and Terri Irwin’s vision of making the Australia Zoo a leading global conservation facility. Steve and Terri started the Australia Zoo, previously lamed the ‘Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park’ is was only about 4 acres.

Today, it is over 1500 acres and has a staff of more than 500 employees.

It was always a dream of Steve and Terri to create a wildlife conservation that made a difference in the world. When Steve’s life was tragically cut short, the future of those plans was at stake.

The show Crikey! It’s the Irwins gives the world a chance to see how animal conservation is still at the forefront of the Irwin family’s goals.

It is exciting to see a family that clearly loves each other embark on an adventure to honor their father’s footsteps. On Instagram, Bindi wrote,
